So what do you guys think of Michelle Carter?

But not impossible..

So you're willing to sell out progressives to get people like Joe Manchin elected who supported all of Trump's cabinet picks and supported Trump's decision to abandon the Paris agreement because "Hey, at least they're better than Republicans... am I right?...", instead of promote an actual progressive message in a place like WV where Sanders beat Clinton by 15% in the Democratic primary

P.u.r.e. G.e.n.i.u.s.

Thank you for admitting you believe enacting universal healthcare, is "extreme". It shows the rest of us what you actually support.

We support progressive values regardless of who controls the government

You say you support progressive values only when your party is in control and vote against them when it's not

Who's the real progressive?
Lol.

I support those initiatives and so do most Democrats.

I don't support idiots who don't realise the subtlety, finesse and compromise required to enact actual change.

You're trying to divide and cannabilise the Democrats which only benefits Republicans.

And yet you claim to be progressive?

Lol.

Do you believe accepting corporate campaign contributions is necessary to win elections?
What he said.

\/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/

It's necessary to win elections until Democrats take enough power to change it.
In 2016, getting behind Clinton full-heartedly after the convention was the right thing to do for your interests and mine.

Wrong. Apparently a core group here is quite infatuated like a bunch of 12-year-olds.
Not wrong.

Nobody really cares unless it's without mutual consent or it involves minors.

That doesn't mean there won't be trolling and teasing, especially if it's something like duct taping a behind open. WTF would you expect from the bunch of irreverent crazy stoner characters here?

Doesn't even matter what our message is at that point.
You've completely swallowed the GOP kool aid

If Democrats are the only party not accepting corporate campaign contributions, and plaster the GOP as corrupt on every single public appearance and interview they give, they will win.

Your strategy has lost us 1,100 seats across the country since 2008 yet you still believe it to be successful.

More than you, with better odds in the polls, with less money and support from the DNC. The results don't lie

Meanwhile, Manchin just signed a pact he wouldn't campaign against his colleagues because he knows his ass is about to get primaried. Spineless.

That sick fucking shit definitely needs to be dealt with. I love how the right has no problem redefining the terms "people" and "free speech" to include corporations and money respectively yet claim "redefining" marriage to include same-sex marriage is a bridge too far.
Gay people aren't as profitable as gaming a political system. There's no morality involved; just greed.

Spineless is pretty mild compared to what he's done.

Care to actually quantify an answer to the question posed?

It was a "how many", so a numerical answer was expected.

So...no actual data to support your assertion?

Clinton won the popular vote by 3%

Keep spouting Republican talking points, Duct Tape Cuck.
1,100 seats

That's data

Why did the Democratic party lose 1,100 seats since Obama became president?

Why do you repeat the Republican talking point that universal healthcare is "extreme"?

Air-time, staff, air-time, direct mail, air-time, events, air-time, travel, air-time etc.

All costs money, if they can get their message out and we can't do the same we're fucked, game over.

Doesn't even matter what our message is at that point.
We have the internet..anyone can get a website to post a platform.

Is stumping really necessary with skype?

list them all.
Do your own homework; Republicans are the majority in 2/3 of all Statehouses, hold most governorships, the US House, US Senate and the White House.

That's called FAILURE, and their best response is to keep doing what they've been doing?

I'm getting involved with Progressives because they are pushing for the things I want to see, and Democrats are just paying lip service out of one side of their mouths and then saying that the issues I care about are 'unrealistic', when the majority of voting Americans are supportive.

Citizens United is wrecking our country and you want to keep taking the money. I find that unAmerican, anti-democracy and despicable.

nah. you guys keep spouting this republican talking point of 800, no 1000, no 1100, no 1400, no 37 million! seats lost since some unspecified date (i'm assuming when ESTABLISHMENT DONOR CLASS!!!!! democrats who totally can;'t win or anything had massive supermajorities everywhere).

so we went from 60 senators to 48. that's 12. we lost 60 or so in the house, so we're up to 72. let's just say we lost 28 governors or some shit to make it an even 100.

where are those other 87 million thousand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seats that we lost?

name them.

In the Statehouses.

Exaggerating hurts your credibility.

We're on the same side. Just because I'm fed up with the same old approach doesn't mean we don't want the same outcomes.

Try to keep that in mind, because continuing the politics of divisiveness only plays into the hands of the corporate enemy.

They ARE your enemies too, right?
