So the Obama Administration is okay with other countries encroaching our borders. . .

Excuse me, did I say anything about carrying around documents? I commented upon the economic backlash that would be incurred by EVERYONE in Arizona should all illegals be deported. Perhaps someone needs to rub his eyes, open the curtains, say hello to the sunshine, and actually read what I wrote in post #39.

Arizona is right...and if ppl want to be retarded...let them....kind of how we are using K economics...stupidity of the masses. The top LOVES it because folks like YOU are that much easier to control.

Arizona only needs to STOP selling water and electricity to Cali..... and bring that completely liberal and BANKRUPT state to it's KNEES....

You are excused....for now.

Not surprising that you would choose to go off on a wild tangent instead of addressing what I said about the economic armageddon it would be for Arizona should they actually deport all their illegals.

I also find it funny that you choose to applaud Arizona's new law because it mirrors what other countries do, yet scorn America for following the lead of other countries when it comes to fixing our out of control health care costs.

Since Arizona is 100% correct... who cares...there will be no economic armageddon..... most of the country AGREES with Arizona. Cali is NO POSITION to do anything at all.

Health care ... immigration...sure let's just lump all of our opinions together.... that's smart.....

Just pointing out how you cherrypick what other countries do when it is convenient for you and you ignore or discount them when it is not. That is all :hump:

I am all for Militarization of our borders to stop the rampant drug smuggling, illegal immigration, kidnapping in southern states and crime that is perpetrated on American citizens.
I agree. It is an invasion. The only reason the dems are for amnesty is because of the potential votes they will receive by giving citizenship to the estimated 10-20 million illegal Mexican immigrates. It doesn't really make sense to me though. I speak Spanish very well and had many latino friends in college and my former boss of 3 years, who is like a second father, is from South America. In my experience, the Hispanic people are generally religious, conservative people who probably have more in common with conversative republicans than democrats. However, I digress. To be fair, let's take a look a Mexican immigration law:

1. If you migrate to this county, you must speak the native language

2. You have to be a professional or an investor. No unskilled workers
allowed.

3. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no
special ballots for elections, all government business will be
conducted
in our language.

4. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they
are here.

5 Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.

6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no
food
stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs.

7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount
equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

8. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT
options will be restricted. You are not allowed waterfront property.
That is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.

9. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign
flag, no political organizing, no badmouthing our president or his
policies, if you do you will be sent home.

10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be hunted down
and sent straight to jail.

Constitution of Mexico

Personally, I find it extremely insulting for the Mexican president to come on American soil, in front of our president and congress, and chastise our laws. Furthermore, I find even more insulting is that it was met with applause by house and senate democrats.

That does not seem to be in legalese, do you have a link to something that wasn't sent to you in a chain e-mail? Like the ACTUAL Mexican immigration law?

edit - by the way, good job posting the same damn thing in two threads. Some call that spam

Man, you posted a derogatory comment about the last 3 or 4 posts I made. As a matter of fact I think you actually called me out on using a preposition at the end of a sentence. I understand these are some hot button issues, but this is a friendly debate to me. If you would have taken the time to check the hyperlink "Constitution of Mexico", specifically Chapter III, you can verify the information for yourself.

Well, the indians actually let ppl come and "visit" for quite awhile but not stay. They could camp and trade, but at some point...shown the door. It wasn't until our diseases moved them off the coastline a bit and weakened them...before we settled.

i dont know why people get so worked up about this illegal alien issue anyways. its not like it has that much of an impact on peoples lives. For one; most jobs that illegal immigrants take, are jobs that even the lowest educated american wouldn't take. Two; the illegal immigrants that do remain in the US, with decent jobs, pay taxes and therefore pay into welfare programs such as un-employment and social security. I say patrol the borders though, to block all the hard narcotics and stop the violence from spilling into our country.

For one thing... it WEAKENS Mexico.... Mexico will never achieve their potential without a full labor force. Mexico's business sector has already stated that filling jobs is very difficult and has responded to polls with a rate of 78% of their businesses having difficulty finding ppl to do the jobs they offer.

Our GREED for cheap labor is holding their entire nation back. A robust Mexico is in our best interests.
