FWIW I haven't noticed any difference in the strains that I have been cloning from for years.

Not sure if this is true, but I have read some info on putting a plant out in the sun for a short period which supposedly adds some vigor back in to a plant that has degraded over time. Not sure if that's complete BS or not.....
Yeah, I've heard ramblings aboit tissue culture restoring a plants robustness as well... i try not to buy into anything I hear round these parts less its from someone I view as highly reputable

I apologize if you took anything as an insult, wasn't my intentions at all. I think i made my point fairly abundantly clear, yet you still skate it..
To each their own, god knows I have smoked a good amount of chem-weed in my day.
And I suppose since you know so much and were schooled at an early age (I applaud that by the way) that you don't need me to point out anything.
But again you ignored the majority of my point, i eat organic fruit because of the pesticides..
My ex GF went to a school next to an almond orchard, they were spraying, and yrs later four girls from that school, were coming down with the same rare and scary cancer, and they all but attributed it to the sprays..
Obviously it's hard to link EXACTLY what causes it, but still, wanna take that chance?
Like i said, go ahead and continue to grow and smoke your own weed. It's your body.
i never said you were doing anything wrong, only said that you are missing the point.
Putting a video of a penn and teller show, and acting like your case was closed seemed a lil obtuse, especially when you take into account your apparent intellect.
I don't care to argue my point any further.
haha i don't have time to even read all this, but i Do Know that good ole @rory420420 is One Sour Puss.!.

Cut her some slack.... She has to put up with you. :-)
oh shnap!
heh......zoolander..
@rory420420 is an alright guy, i'm pretty sure I remember agreeing with him on something in the past... or was it arguing with him? Hmm I seriously can't remember, so i'll remember it as agreeing, more peaceful that way.

You're constantly adding them. Got it. And they therefore rule the roost.

OK here's the heart of the issue. You don't have a handle on a proper microbe / soil / plant dynamic. To say they rule the roost proves this. You are parroting stoner science my friend
What do you mean?

Damn! Ya'll never cease to amaze me. Thanx for keeping this thread near to the top!!

Well I stopped reading back around page 3 or so, so sorry if somebody already brought this up.

Thinking that I did not add enough lime in the beginning, I crushed up some lime I had on hand, and dusted the tops of my pots and watered it in.

Then after taking so much shit on here for never having runoff and "letting my soil dry out", the next day I went back up and watered till I got some runoff.

Flash forward four days and when I go back up, its like a totally new room. The healthier of the two girls had grown at least 3 inches. The new twisted growth was still there, but the newer 3" of growth is beautiful. As for the other girl, the new growth is not as impressively taller, but the color is healthy and the leave surface is smooth. Night and day difference in both plants.

And I didn't even think that lime was going to work that fast.

well, it doubt it was the lime that did it, typically ph issues don't correct that easily.
I'd say more likely it was the fact that you got rid of a lot of that build up..
good to hear though man, I like to water fairly thoroughly (above and beyond the normal watering) at least once a week, and if the plant is relatively rootbound even more.
