I was wondering because i had someone tell me to use cocking to hold the ebb and flow kits parts. is this going to be a problem?

It's Caulking Lol "Cock-ing" But Ya Silicone Sealant Should Be just fine to Seal It All Up

why not flood a waterproof tray? silicone needs maintenance, will eventually leak, get any waterproof membrane

i used plumbing sealant on my fittings and i have not had an issue. just as long as you let it dry for the proper time it should be fine, if its not dry all the way then silicon will peel off.

Yea you can use silicone caulking for your ebb and flow, but leave the cocking for the ladies.
