i think the plastic outside screen needs to be replace and the inner screen might just need to be rest. Ill call a TV Repair guy when we get the money. Don't know if i should call Mitsubishi or call a local repair guy. Maybe them 1st then they might know of a local guy.

Ok I cracked the back of the tv open. There are a few port holes on each side. I was able to push the plastic screens back in to their spots. So now the TV is fine but there is still a large 3 inch crack in the middle of the screen. You can really notice it in black pictures but you can see it in a bright picture. But the picture is no longer out of focus.

What is the screen made of, where the crack is? You might be able to get one from the manufacturer if you're up to replacing it. Another thought I had was, depending on what the screen's made of, maybe you can at least improve it if not get it perfect. I am thinking of methods they use for windshield repair, for example. Oh, and CD repair.

No offense, but you shouldn't have to keep a fence around your valuable things like you would with a child.

If he's old enough to rip out a woman's hair, he can pay to get your tv fixed.

sorry i must have misread the OP's post, i thought the brother inlaw ripped a chunk of hair out of his wife, the ops sister, then in defence shes pushed him away and hes fallen on the tv then bullshited about how the tv got smashed
