Snowden's Travels

The US has "warned" any Western Hemisphere country, that it faces the ire of the US if Snowden is allowed to travel, unless it is to go back to the US where he faces charges of espionage. So far none of the countries that he has visited seem willing to comply, and with his itinerary already planned to end in Ecuador, the chances are slim to none that he will be deported back to the US. Russia seemed especially eager to disregard the request after Washington passed laws barring any Russian citizen from entry into the US, and the freezing of any of their assets if they had been accused of human rights violations any where in the world. It seems that the heavy hand that Washington has welded for so many years in Latin America and beyond is being chewed on with glee by the recipients of those slaps. What are the chances that Snowden will end up back in the US, and do you think that the fuck you that so far been the answer by all these countries is justified?

Yes it is more than justified.

The US spying on all data outside the US?
Well I hate to break it to you but when they say that
what they are really saying is they are not targeting machines in the US but even americans
data hops to servers outside of the US. So yes they are catching traffic from US citizens also.

So now we move the focus out a bit, to the global community. Well it sure is quiet now isn't it.
Almost too quiet. Foreign govs really are not saying much, but it appears that when the chance
arises they are sending loud and clear fuck you's.

Why are Americans so complacent? Why are they not flooding the streets demanding an impeachment?
After all they tossed Billy over a BJ.

This, this is much bigger.

good for him someone needed to out the government for illegal spying i hope more people come out when they find out how the gov. is doing shit illegally shame on the gov. this is ludacris and there are other legal ways of finding terrorist groups but the gov. is just so fucking lazy they have to do it an illegal way i would impeach the pres. or how ever i could help in doing it

like i said in another post the gov. can suck a d***

day after day we are becoming less free and less democractic more like capitalism is winning what happen to the hippa laws with the privacy issues wish i could win a lawsuit against them for my constitutional rights are being violated but who knows how many judges are in the backpocket of the gov.

well lets see, the man is a true patriot. the gov spies on its people and he is the one charged with being a spy. sue the government for spying on its own business.

I see all the "patriots" are lined up on the side of a true American traitor...sad, sad commentary that you bung holes think this just started happening recently...of course were spying

You see Walter, the gov is using the T card to strip you of your right
to privacy. You are allowing them to do it.

Yes spying has always been going on, this though is different. The American
gov is harvesting data on the worlds citizens, including other governments and their
politicians.

If you feel, that everything that you say or do, places you go, or people you associate
with can be intercepted and stored without warrant or evidence of wrongdoing, then I have
to disagree with you.

Why is it ok?

Complacency in this case is dangerous.

he's a traitor? Pls... Take a look at the people in the White House if you want to talk about traitors, the people leaking secrets for political gain are the real danger... Yes every country spies, but before 9/11 the surveillance apparatus the US has was turned inward, as opposed to it's traditional use (for over 30 years) of watching outward. 9/11 was an excuse to expand it and make public some aspects... According to you he's up there with Ellsberg, Drake, Gayl, DeKort, Manning?

Did you think anyone was committing treason when given the producers of Zero Dark Thirty access to the actual CIA and SEAL mission planners? (With no clearance to be read in)

THE US GOVERNMENT SELLS OUT ITS OWN CITIZENS! DO YOU REALLY THINK IT CARES ABOUT THOSE ABROAD?

That was all part of their plan. They love when hollywood makes movies making the zionist american War Machine great. Sad how they trick so many great young Americans and so many lives are lost for israel's gain around the globe.

Our government, with it's head in the "cloud" has no idea where it's feet is landing......
Any country that gives him asylum will be giving US citizens a chance to fight back this illegal activity.
Billions going into housing Data, while bridges fall into rivers, fires left to burn themselves out, Gang violence out of control, while police departments have to lay off officers. Our leaders are quite insane when viewed from my neighborhood.

It's amazing how much data can be stored on a device less than a square inch.
Imagine the amount of data being collected and stored to justify these new
"storage facilities".

Police departments don't prevent gang violence. Police departments often ARE gang violence.

I'm liking SecState Kerry's appoach to this job. He unfortunately shows that Hillary is rather dickless in her tone.

State need a big dick. And there are plenty of women for the job. The crybaby, Hillary, no, and certainly not for President, IMO.

Her testimony before Congress was a joke and she will pay this fall, when the summer investigations are reported on.

True, It's communities that keep gangs out of their "limits", look at Salinas CA. one of the most organized Gang hubs in the nation,
yet 15 miles away in Pacific Grove-Pebble Beach, non existence.

Are you suggesting that you agree with Kerry referring to Snowden as a traitor?
That just wouldn't align well with your previous posts of holding your elected
officials to account and so on.

Snowden exposed something that should be of grave concern. Sure it has tarnished
the US reputation, but that was not Snowden's doing.
