Snow Rage

Plowing snow used to be considered a fairly safe occupation:

"In the nation’s northeast, which has been hammered all winter long, plow drivers are being threatened. Several drivers report being shot at, assaulted with shovels, and generally disliked by the masses. One driver in Connecticut walked off the job, saying it wasn’t worth the risk."

We had a front-end loader doing a church parking lot at 4 AM last Sunday morning...which pissed me off along with the entire block.

They didn't need to be doing that in a residential area, and the privately contracted commercial company was ticketed by the city.

But attacking public works employees doing the streets is a bit much....WTF.

i told our plow driver to make sure we are plowed, an extra $20 a month makes sure shit like the above^^ dosent happen to us ;-)

and with the 6" last night, we are over 175" for the year, so the people out east can suck it and complain about snow, they have no idea what real snow is...or cold for that matter

They're calling for even more on Thursday, possibly a foot of heavy shit.

I'm curious, very rare snow here, what is a plow driver supposed to do with it? How can they not bury cars?
The cars aren't suppose to be there. I think he was damaging some of them with the snow and plow blade and that's why he was fired.

Usually the plows go through then the removal machines come after if needed.

when I was in like 4th grade my friends and I used to throw snowballs at the plow trucks when they would go by. we would always hit em but we were bad shots, always ended up getting the side of their trucks and they would just drive off, sometimes beep at us whatever. Hahah one time my friend Danny wound up and NAILED this truck right on his passenger side window and the three of us took off running because the guy slammed on the brakes. He ended up getting out of his truck and we freaked out and ran towards my backyard which had a wooden fence at the time. my friend and I damn near flew over the wooden fence and danny was coming up behind us. All we heard was a THUD and no Danny. turns out when he went to jump up and grab the top of the fence he slipped and ate the fence with his face. Heard the snowplow guy screamin and laughing on the way back to his truck. Don't know what he would have done if he caught us...maybe he just wanted a snowball fight idk
