You don't want to roll up a big fatty of leaves, man that's some nasty ass stuff. When i was younger & dumber a relative gave me a couple of oz's of nothing but leafs, I felt like it was Christmas. A buddy and I rolled a big hog leg, fired that baby up and after about 3 hits I was done with that trash, coughing and hacking like I was going to die. The bag laid in a desk drawer for a couple of years until his dad threw that shit out. They were probably from schwag but NEVER again will I smoke leafs.

McLOVIN!!! haha good call. nongreenthumb did you get my message? so on second thought I guess Ill just make some hash or oil out of them when the time arises. how do they smell when you burn them? i might just save them and throw them onto the BBQ in the summertime. weed smoked steak...mmm.

yea i definately wouldnt smoke leaves. the hash you can get from trim will get you higher than the bud itself if you make it right, the iso technique takes less than an hour and youll end up with a nice fat ball of hash. fdd posted a pic of his iso ball and it was the size of a bar of soap! one hit of iso and youre blazed, but if you smoke like 3-4 hits youll start tripping - i remember standing in the candy/chips section of the grocery store for literally 15 minutes staring at stuff, its so strong haha

Not really. If you have a male or two, just throw it in a clear plastic bag, and keep it off to the side. Add air holes and make sure it's not directly under your lights. This should prevent it from pollinating females, and it can still grow nice and big. If you get a few ounces of dried leaf from it, you can make a few grams of oil no problem.
Never tried this, but I'm told it will prevent pollination. Not worth it IMO, if you've got a nice female crop.

why would anyone risk doing that? i mean...putting a plant in a plastic bag and adding air holes?...plus, its a male. unless youre breeding then kill it, why would you risk pollenating your entire crop (plastic bag w/ holes is a dumb idea, im sorry) just for an ounce of dried male leaves?

yeah im not so sure about that either if im keeping a male to breed id be putting it in a seperate air tight room a long way away from my females. what about flowering though i know they produce pollin sacs but if they have no females to pollinate can the buds be smoked? and i realize they dont produce as much thc and would be mostly pollin but just for shits and giggles does any one know?
Well, I figured it'd be more along the lines of a really small grow. If you're growing 2-3 plants, and have one turn male, move it somewhere else, and keep growing the rest.
I never said I'd do it, and I never said it was a good idea. Just something to think about.
