so heres a quick lil smoke report on the og..
its been in jars for 11 days now, could and will stay in them for longer, but last night was my first sample of the og, and the smell and taste is really starting to finally come around.. i have been checking on the smell several times a day, and yesterday was really the first day that it was smelling dank instead of still smelling green'ish..
so, let's start off with smell.. oh my god is all i have to say.. its got that lovely kush smell that i always like to describe as smelling of fresh coffee.. probably around 20 or so years ago now, i used to work in a coffee and tea store in the local mall.. anyhoo's, kush always makes me think of fresh ground hawiian kona coffee that i would brew when the bosses were off.. if i was feeling extremely naughty, i would break out the jamicain blue mountian, that was like $50 a pound back than.. well, thats the way this og smells to me.. and nice and earthy.. i absolutely love the smell of a nice kush, and this surely doesn't let me down at all in this dpt..

out of ten i think i would have to give it a solid seven or even an eight.. nice tight nugs, with lots of hairs, and a nice coating of crystals for that sugar coating look.. i think it could use a lil more on the chrystal side, but its not that bad, but not the frostiest either... i always think that smell is also a big part of bag appeal, but i disgused that earlier.. and like i said, the nugs are a nice size, i probably have a ton of two or three gram sized nugs, and a some biger and some a lil smaller, but all in all, nice sized nugs that are fairly tight.. i didn't seem to loss alot of weight in the dry and cure like i've noticed in some strains, which is always nice..
high.. well, its got your basic everyday indica high to it for sure.. the thing is it kinda gets my heart racing a lil bit in about the first fiftenn or twenty minutes of smoking it, than it settles down into a nice thougtfull and relaxing stone that lasts nice and hard for a good hour and a half or so, and gently wears off leaving me feeling not too burnt out, and ready for another bowl..
so, what am i leaving out of this smoke report.. hmmm.. oh yeah, would i grow this strain again? for sure.. definite keeper, i only grew out the one bean out of the pack of ten, so i've still got plenty for a future grow.. this strain reminds me a lot of the thseeds mk ultra, which has some og in it according to thseeds.. and i loved the mk.. i yeilded wayyy better off of this og than i did the mk though.. but i also grew in five gallon pots this time around, and only had like two or so for the mk's, and i've also had maybe three or four more grows between the two, so maybe i'm just getting a lil better on getting my yeilds up some.. i haven't really weighed anything up, cuz its just all for my head anyhoo's, but just by eyeballing it and seeing how many of my cheech and chong jars that i ordered online are full of lovely kush goodness, i'm thinking i may have over three zips off of the one plant under the 250 mh/hps, and about a lil over a zip, a zip and a half off of each of the two dopes. so for the whole grow, i'm looking at around five o's.. two of the dope, and three og.. the thing is that i thought that i've always read that og isn't that good of a yeilder, and i was only really expecting an o off of the og and the two dopes, but i have to say that i'm really impressed with the yield on this og.. and the smoke, and the smell, and the ... lol..
but honestly, i'm way more than happy with the results of this grow for sure.. seems like things are getting better and better the more i do this thing, who would have thunk it.
