Smell

I'm growing some bag seeds, middies (yeah make fun of me) and there in a closet that has several layers of felt over the door to stop light, and maybe smell. I was wondering how soon and how bad they will smell? I have about 20 plants sprouted but will probably end up with 2 - 6 plants that i will grow to finish.

well depending on the strain it can produce smell as a seedling ,but mostly mj plants tend to smell during flowering.

I have about 15 seedlings and it still doesnt smell in there. So maybe Ill get lucky?

I think the smell packs on during flower

sometimes they even start into vegging.. but the big detectable smell comes when flowering..

It will smell like a skunk sprayed in there.

mine started smelling when they were about 3 inches tall

what is this gel you guys talk about, and does it work. does anyone have any success with DIY scrubers?

All of them smell. veg or flowering

Since you have bagseed it's anyone's guess as to whether they will smell or not. I've had bagseed stink in veg and flower, and bagseed that only stink during the last 2 weeks of flower.

My bagseed CFL grow is 28 days into veg. and my closet smells like a skunk. For more details, check out my thread!

just cause you have bagseed from mids dont mean your growing mid as we type. i growing bagseed of mids now and its is not now mids now it was mids seed now it like some headies

mids isnt a strain..mids can have kush parents, it just wasnt grown right..

Yep, they're all gonna stink yo. There isn't any way to tell when its gonna start. Even plants in early veg can start stinking. The cheapest way out if you have a small confined space especially, is some ONA Gel. Good properly built scrubbers can get very expensive. The gel is about 7 or 8 bucks for a little plastic jar of it, and it really does work wonders. Buy the shit on line or most all grow shops carry it.

i have been told northern lights is a good strain for a low smell. can anyone tell me if this is true, or how much NL smells and at what stage.
