Smaller Grow Tent and Questioning My Lighting???

I recently purchased a smaller grow tent it's a Gorilla GGT 24 (2'x 2.5'x 5'11" (W/EXT.6'11") and my lighting is 250w MH/HPS, the ballast is a Solis Tek 250/400w, my question is can I use 400 watt metal halide and high pressure sodium in a tent this size or will it get to hot, I will be doing my grow during the winter months up north and of course it has the inline fan with plenty of air movement but it this time a gull wing reflector is used, should I switch to a cool tube type or should I just stick with 250 watts OR is it to small for MH/HPS lighting?

Yeah you will.be good with a 400 hps/mh air cooled hood. As long as the temperature of the intake air is low and you have good exhaust you won't run into any problems with heat.

however make sure you lay everything out, the hoods can get big and people often don't take into account the space needed for ducting, fans, carbon filter and buckets. IMO I would run t5s you will get results good enough to make you happy without the extra price.
