Small yields..

He has 4x4 veg tent,
lights include 2 135w UFO LEDs and 120w T8 6500K flouro.
Temps range from 80F night - 87F day,
humidity 40-50%
Always have a little fan blowing
Veg nutes: super thrive, grow big, amor si

He has lots of super lemon haze going, 1 LSD, and 1 strawberry blue. This time around he is trying mainlining to try and get a yield over 1.5oz..

Flower "room" is next to the tent in the open room.
He has 8ftx5ft of space to work with.
Temperatures range from 75F night - 86Fday.
Humidity 39%-47%
Lights include, 270w advanced spectrum led, 192w t8 4 red 4 blue, 400w COB led from China. Getting more COBs soon.
4 inch inline fan pushing air through a carbon filter and multiple fans blowing around the room.
Flower nutes: nectar of the gods advanced schedule but he feeds 1tps per gallon every water, plus he tried adding general hydroponics liquid koolbloom (stopped when found to be inorganic )



Soil mix: happy frog, ocean Forrest, roots organic, coco coir, vermiculite, equal parts. mix in azoz and mycos inoculant. Flowered in 5 gal smart pots

He thinks he may have over watered a couple times cause the leaves look curled down.

How can he increase yield? trying to stay organic.

He tried defoliating 3 weeks into flower this time around and he got crappy results with super lemon haze, LSD, and thc bomb, however the strawberry blue seamed to like it

He usually only get 1-1.5oz per plant. Trying for 2 or more

more yield....bigger pots and more lights

I get 4-6oz off each. same off my flower room that contains 2 1000w hps. I put one plant under the 1000w at one time and got just shy of a lbs. Grown in a 35 gallon tote

He uses LEDs and flouros so electric bill doesn't fly through the roof

my electric bill isnt bad at all. Ive done all the calculations and make sure I run at off peak hours etc. 1-600w and 2- t5's in veg, 2-1k's
12/12 HPS, and 24 veg my bill runs around 200 for that at max. Its worth it

i'd say enclose the area.. not much benefit to have plants in the middle of an open room.. if not utilizing the whole area, close it off and put some reflective material around. a lotta light just going out to nowhere when you could bounce it back on the plants.

those are 5 gal? ..couple plants look kinda small for that size, i wonder if he transplants then flips right away?
looks like he needs a bit more veg time, or more light to get better yields. (never worked with LED though, so personally dunno if he's under/over lit)

Maybe he'd get a bigger yield if he wasn't so fucking lazy?

The small plants you see on the side are just extra clones put into 1 gallons, not much attention to them...

Plants are vegged for 4-6 weeks

I will look into getting reflective material.

He tries not to be lazy and he still is learning. Only his second grow of the same three strains. What could he do better?

its your lights dude. bigger lights equal better yield. if you want to keep the power bill low sell those leds and buy induction lighting. that small of a tent and 2 400 induction light would blow your mind. look into them. expensive but cheap to run and last forever....almost.

I have read every single forum on RIU. I'm constantly lurking and reading.

Which brings me to the point i was making.

He, his, him.

It's your grow and everyone is aware of this. People don't tend to get taken seriously when they run around doing the whole he him his, SWIM nonsense. If you ask me what is wrong with your plants, i'd be happy to help, but i never have time to be helpful to people who go around taking about "my mate has these plants and there's a problem" etc.

its a process I believe is his point. its not only reading but asking and researching and getting your hands dirty. I think your doin fine.

Definateley his/your crappy lighting. Adding up your wattage, you have damn near 1000w of power you are already using. You can get 2 oz per plant(about 4 plants max) with a 400w hps setup. That would cut your power damn near in half, and youcould actually grow some bud to pay the lower electric bill. I dont get how people seem to think hid lighting is so expensive to run? 400w hps, 400w cfl, 400w led draw, 400w dildo, doesnt matter its using the same amount of power.

I might be scared of the woman thats using a 400w dildo....i'm not sure I can do much for her..

Veg your plants longer and use bigger containers , easiest way to up yield.

And even after reading "every" forum on the site you still dont know why your yield is crap with those lights? Methinks maybe you need to go read "every" forum again and actually absorb the information instead of letting it pass in one ear and out the other
