Small weird 'balls' on stem, what the hell are they?

I inspected the plants pretty thoroughly this morning and found these, does anyone know what they are? I tried removing them and rolled one between the fingers and it felt pretty hard.

Anyone please?

Hmm, I don't like the sound of that... and I just ignored it, took a picture and didn't take notice of which plant it was. Uh.......

The fact they're spread out and different sizes makes me wonder if it's just sap, Just to be safe I'd pick them off and store them in a jar or something and see if anything happens.:peace:

What is sap? I'll pick them when I find them, took a quick peek through the branches now and didn't find them and there's no time, new years eve and everything :|

I didn't think marijuana was a sap type plant. Sap is usually a tree kind of thing.

It does look weird, I think I'd try to scrape them off or something.

If you perforate the stem (small insects can do this) skin, you can get small amounts of sap to bleed out. Is this outdoors?

There's a type of pest that does that.. it's enclosed in a hard shell and the suck the stuff from the plant.. Don't remember what they're called though

I was looking at the pic again and there are smaller ones up the stem from that large one. Can you isolate the plant, just in case, it'd suck to have that shit spread.
