Small Set up 2'x3' need help picking out the right lighting

Hey all! I'm a seasoned outdoor grower, but I'm attempting my first indoor grow project. I bought a Gorilla tent that is aprox. 20" deep, 36" wide, and 5' tall. I have to remain discreet my husband said, so this little tent is easily hidden in my basement. I have purchased everything EXCEPT for the lighting. I'm so very confused on what to do. I'm interested in LED since I don't have a lot of space and know that temp can be an issue. I'm interested in quality over quantity, but quantity wouldn't be bad either. I will most likely do autoflowers, but I do have 12 bag seeds to experiment with.

Would you please help direct me towards the BEST possible lighting for my small space. I will probably only grow 1-2 plants at a time.

Please help!

I'm sure you know this as a active member but under the section indoor growing there is a LED section just for info on buying LEDs. With that said I am a beginner and also I think I have the same tent or close. I have a 2x2.5 from gorilla and I use DromGrow G8 LED 600 for that tent. Heat isn't much of a problem except when it's hot outside, but I have an a/c right out the room the tent is in and it keeps it anywhere between 78-82. Also air circulation and having the vent ports open help temps.

Thanks for the info White Water. It's been probably 4 years since I've posted here, life took over. I will go check out that other section :) Have you used that DormGrow G8 LED 600 thru an entire grow yet, just curious? I was reading and it said 18 sq. ft. growing area minimum...hmmmm

My basement is the coldest area in the house, so I don't think additional heat will be an issue. We run the A/C if it's over 75 outside, and the basement seems to never get above 68 degrees.

Not the 600 but it can be done. I have the 600 and the 900 for flower but that's only because I have a bigger flower tent so I have a bigger light. If used my 2x2.5 the whole grow it def would work and I would use that. I also have 2 red boosters for my flower tent it's not needed but it is a bigger tent like I said so I added more light. these also give off very little heat like I said so your temps should be perfect.

Nice. I plan on using the same tent for the entire process. I think that I will go with the less powerful one, the 240 seems like it would be ideal with a red booster, If I ever upgrade I can just add second panel or sell it and upgrade. I'm about to order this now, I'm dying to get started.

The recommended distance and area coverage isn't for what we ar using it for. It's for veggies and herbs the cooking kind lol. The distance says 24-36inches I think for the 600. I keep mine 2-4 inches away during flower and veg it ranges depending if I wanna have it stretch more but they do not need to sit the recommended height. The 240 and booster would probably be great I just wanted you to know about the recommendations they give aren't what's used. If you keep it at that distance they will get stretch for that light even if it is strong. The ones I have in flower reach for my 900 when its 5 inches away bothingcrazy but it stills grows just fine being that close.
