Small growing

I had a few questions about growing on a small scale (1 or 2 small plants):

I don't have a lot of room to grow huge plants, so i was wondering whats the best/fastest way to grow a very small plant that still produces some bud?

I want to keep the plant relatively small so should i have it on 12/12 from the start? should i give it less water?

Any tips on how to keep my plant small while still producing some bud would help me a lot here!

I think he wants it t be around two feet tall. Just keep it in your grow closet and light it good. Every night breathe on it and just do the usual. There isnt any way to speed up the growing process.

Hey Poiu1979. I an a newbie, but I can offer what I know...
Look for an Indica strain since they tend to be shorter than a Sativa strain.
A 12/12 light schedule is used when it is time to flower your ladies. From seedling stage through the veg stage, you want your light schedule to be either 18/6 or 24/7. I hope this helps.

yeah, if your growing indoors i guess you could theoretically grow it as small as you want. Another thing to keep in mind is that the size can double during flowering, so keep that in mind

Ive grown plants small enough where they only produce an 1/8

How tall did those plants get?

Because i only want mine to be a foot tall at the most.

I was thinking of growing it in one of those plastic party cups.

For minimum height, how long should i wait before i move to 12/12? Anything else i can do to keep it small?

The plant was 8" tall. If you want it to be a 1' foot veg until its 6-7" tall then flower

Instead of plastic cups, I'd grow them in 2 liter bottles just so the roots dont get all bunched up. Just grow the plants smaller than what height you want, then force them into flowering and put them on 12/12. They will grow more when they flower so they will grow to the size that you want them at, but if you're growing a smaller plant I'd recommend topping and femming them so you can get the maximum yield for the size. More tops means more buds.

And try a indica strain, they are small stalky plants. And try Nirvana right now.

Genetics for this strain come from the Hindu Kush mountain region near the village district of Chitral. Citral produces a mellow herbal taste, very good yield and hard buds. For larger yeilds, grow relatively tall before changing the photo period. The aroma from the buds is fresh, almost like fabric softener. The buzz is an interesting cerebral experience despite its indica heritage.
  • Plant type: Best suitable for indoor growing.
  • Plant height: Short- Mostly Indica
  • Stoned or high?: Stoney yet high- Allround Buzz
  • THC level: Strong 15-20%
  • Flowering Weeks: 8/10
  • Yield (Sea of Green on one m2) : 350-450
  • Harvest Month: 9
  • Grow difficulty: Experienced
They are selling Citral seeds for $23.35 - I just ordered some myself. =)
And although it said Grow difficulty is Experienced, I've heard that it is VERY easy to grow. Good luck man. =]

willgrow1day,
You need to get thos plants into seperate pots, QUICKLY.
Like today if possible.
And cover 3/4 of the stem that is showing with soil when you transplant.
Try to get a fan to blow onto the plants, the stems are looking weak.

if i were you i would go with lowrider 2. stays short, flowers quickly and has massive yield considering. if you do go with some indica then i would plant in a 2 liter or a container about the same size. make sure no light can penetrate the container though. as for as keeping it short, dont flower right away but i would flower when it is 6 inches tall. also, to increase yield top when the plant is about 4 inches. if you are growing well and dont have stretching you could have 3 to 4 nodes at this point. after the top, let recover for a week or till it is 6 inches then flower.

how much do you cut off if it's only a 4 inch plant?

I know exaclty what you need. Click here >>>> Auto flowering cannabis seeds <<<<<< This seed bank offers alot of seeds that are called auto flowering or just auto plants. These auto plant begin to show sex and begin makin buds at the end of week 2. And they are done in 8-10 weeks. Thats from seed to harvest. Also the max height is 20' or so. Hope this helps!
