so,
i just received my new 600w HPS lamp and ballast today.

i just finished harvesting my first crop 3 days ago(all CFL) and i am beyond ready to move up in the grow room.

so i set it up today in my small closet setup( 1 power skunk flowering, and 2 PS clones)(1 blueberry auto- flowering seedling)(and one Thai super skunk seedling).

my question is now that my temps, are getting way too high...

i have intake and outtake fans blowing with temps around 75 degrees F, and 2 mini rotating fans just to move the air circulation around.

so any help with lowering my temperatures any other ways would be greatly appreciated.

thank you.

can you attach the exhaust vent/fan to you light ? This will help a bunch also how much cfm are your fans because the idea is to never let heat build up in there so the more cool air thats passing through the room the easier it is to keep hot air from building up . the ideal set up would be 1 intake and exhaust for your light/s and 1 intake and exhaust for your room. but Im sure you could get away with less with 1 light if your fans pull enough air through the room

that is just the temp that the air coming into the room is at.

NICKBBAD had the right idea, i just had alot of hot are building up in the room, my temps are now 81.2-83.0 so i am doing fine now.

using a 600 watt hps is a little extreme for my closet right now, so i need to tone down, but i am going to harvest the 4 female blurryders that i have before downgrading.

thanks to all for the replies.
much help!
