I appoligize for not having earlier updates but I didnt have access to a computer untill now. This plant is one month old at the time time of these pictures I had just did some trimming and LSTing so she looks pretty bare. Ive been vegging with 2 65w 5000k CFL's and will switch one of the 5000k with a 55w 2700k and add another 30w 3000k for flowering. I took these about a week ago and have since bought the nutrients you see in the pictures and fed for the first time a couple days ago, And the difference is amazing, seriously grew like an inch in less than two days. Feel free to comment/ask questions and let me know what you guys think.

I let the soil get bone dry between waterings but maybe ill wait a couple more days between watering, i water about once every 4-5 days. i plan on vegging for another 3weeks to a month or whenever all the tops reach the screen(the plant isnt sitting up on the dvds anymore i moved it to the bottom of the box soo the tops will start stretching).I got the lights at my girlfriends work for 1dollar a piece, she works at a local discount store, they get all kinds of random stuff in there. thanks for the comment ++rep.

She looks a little starved, like she wants to grow but just doesn't have the energy for some reason! I'm sure now u've started with nutes things will pick up. I agree, she does look kind of bare, but once those tops/branches grow, u should have quite a decent canopy so something to look forward to! I wouldn't let the soil get bone dry man, once it does it'll slow down her growth again, u want to keep things optimal throughout for fastest growth. I also wouldn't really advise stretching her too much, as once she flowers she WILL stretch, all you want is to get those tops a little larger and more developed, that kind of requires the light to be close. My 2 pence. Either way you're off to a good start.

It looks a bit weird that those stems are so thick comparing to plant size. I am not a pro so maybe it's not an issue. Also as lillindian said, you don't want them to be far from CFLs She will stretch too much instead of getting bushier. CFLs are good for the reason that you can keep them close to plants and not burning them. What kind of strain is this? Subbed

Thanks for the comments lilindian an maariic, yes growth has really improved since starting with the nutes i thiink she was a little starved so maybe ill start watering now every time the soil is dry to about an inch or so down. Dont know the strain it was just some bagseed i got in some decent bud. I didnt realize that she would stretch soo much in flowering soo ill move it back up closer to the lights. thanks again for the feedback guys +++rep. Ill put up new pics tommorow.

I believe she is now 45 days old, give or take a few days. Since I stopped pruning and started with nutrients, I have to water almost twice as often. Before, i was watering every 5-6 days, now its like every 3-4 days. Let me know what you guys think, any feedback or comments are welcome.

Thanks gingerbuddha ++rep. Probably going to veg for another 2 weeks or so, however long it takes the tops to grow through the screen I have in my cab. In a couple more days i wont be able to take her out anymore, right now the one top is right at the bottom of the screen.

looking good man, they look a good colour and quite happy, keep it up!

Growth will always be quicker when they're growing naturally, training no matter what kind it is always slows things down.

Thanks lilindian! Yea im excited about the growth picking up. Today my plant is offically growing through the screen so wont be pulling her out anymore, had to make sure she was in the right position and everything for watering, training ect. Im soo excited for flowering, I think in another week and a half-two weeks, everything should be through the screen and I can switch to 12&12!! How is your girl doing? Is she starting to get her green color back yet?

Has anyone ever heard of determining sex of a plant by the amount of leaves on a branch? I heard that females will typically have more
, like sets of 9 or 11 or 15, whereas males will have less, like sets of 5 or 7?
