Small Business looking for Outside Opinion

I am an owner of a small company called Ohio Curing and Preserve. I'm looking for some peoples feedback on my company. We have been operational for over a year and have not received much negative feedback. Nothing is perfect so I know there is room for improvement but I just don't know what I should improve on.

A large portion of our sales come from legalized states like Colorado, Washington and California. I was thinking about represent the company at this coming years Cannabis Cup in Colorado by getting a booth. 2014's Cannabis Cup had insane attendance and I handed out 500 business cards within a hour but I had no booth to sell out of. I think it would be a good step forward for my company to get a booth to sell my hygrometers and cure caps instead of just handing out business cards.

My companies website is http://www.cureand.com/ let me know what you think.

I apologize if this forum seems a little spam-ish that is not my intention. Just looking for some feedback. Thank you for your time.

I just bought some low end hygrometers and I can tell you your prices are very good. I paid a little less but I like the function of yours already being in the lid and would not have a problem paying more for that. Just switched to gallon jars for curing otherwise I'd be interested in your product. Good luck!

I've seen them, but not used them yet. It's a great idea, man. Definitely get a booth and sell them there. You should easily pay for the cost of the booth and you'll get great exposer.

Making sure people know your company name and that you were the first will go a long way once you pick up some competition. Always strive to keep improving the design anywhere you can, keep your prices reasonable for what you offer and this can be your golden goose.

Hey man - not trying to be a douche, but you could really liven up the site a bit and the 'build a free website' ad by weebly is kind of a turn off to propects imo. The landing page actually looks like it would convert fairly well - the copy writing is good and the product description is immediately visible - the product images are clearly visible and stand out well and I like how you've got a buy now button visible no matter where you are looking on the page. These are all good techniques you've implemented when it comes to online marketing, but now that you've got all the functionality of the page set in place it would be a good time to focus on more cosmetic aspects and maybe revise the look of it a bit. Consider your target market (or the 'category' the majority of your customers fit in) and then go check out sites that have the same target audience, then maybe implement some of their ideas into what you've got going on...you'd be suprised how much conversions can be increased with a little visual optimization. I was heavy into e-marketing and online reputation and all that stuff for a while and even replaced my normal income at my job with several passive income streams online, but then Google Adsense unexpectedly banned me which was my biggest cash cow so I've stepped out of the game for now. Apparently they made a connection between me and my legitimate websites online and 'me' and my more...shadier involvements online...Tried hard to keep the 2 separate, but big G knows everything. Sure as hell miss those Google checks... :(

Just my 2 cents - I hope you achieve great success with your business.

Best advise ever! Thank you so much. I did not think about the weebly impeding my operations. Tomorrow I am going to start working on getting that changed.

Pricing is very good for +/-5% accuracy.

That being said, have you looked into the cost/benefit of increasing that accuracy?

Sitewise, it could be better but at least it works well on desktop and, especially, mobile. If youre technically inclined, look into purchasing a custom template for $15-50 from somewhere like http://www.templatemonster.com . If you're not comfortable editing it yourself, check Craigslist for someone local who could help you out cheap.

Best of luck with sales!

imo any exposure like the cup is a no brainer..all the feedback on your site well that too is a no brainer. Product that your selling well it too is a no brainer if you have the right LOCATION.. LOCATION, LOCATION, is the best selling point. so you have the interweb thinge and then you have the cannabis cup.. well there is a jackpot of stoned growers and the important smoker whom loves to keep there product at its best. knowing your buds are kept in the best environment and can see that is a selling point in itself..good luck you buckeye you!!!
