Slowing Marijuana Growth For Timing Purposes

I want to move my location as well as expand so I am planning to work it out so that I do not lose any time during the move.

I need a total of 350 clones but can only do 200 at a time with my aerocloners so I am planning to put them in soilless mix once they root then put them on 18 hours of light and then 24 hours or more of darkness. I am hoping this slows the growth rate so that they are basically on par with the next batch of 200 I do just before the move. then everything is ready to be planted roughly at the same time.

Am I crazy for thinking like this or will this actually work? I cannot find any information on slowing plant growth for beneficial purposes so I guess I'm the first to do this experiment. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated and I will keep an update on this thread for the next two months and let you know how it works out.

Yeah, I don't think putting them in the dark will do much to slow it down. My understanding is that plants still grow in the dark, they just use there stored energy from the fan leaves at night to grow. Too much darkness and the fan leaves start dying off. Good luck anyway!
