I have no idea how big your room is but here is a good carbon filter/fan combo that will do a 12 x 12 x 8 room and its refillable.

http://cgi.ebay.com/8-x-14-CHARCOAL-FILTER-HYDROPONIC-ODOR-SCRUBBER-240CFM_W0QQitemZ350327287440QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5191222e90

Also I have seen good results with T5's in budding but you will probably need a couple of red spectrum T5 bulbs for the best results. If you would like to see a journal where a guy is flowering under T5's just let me know and I will look through my subscriptions to find it.

Another excellant suggestion Nick. Very affordable too. :bigjoint:

Yeah I got 8 of the red spectrum flowering T5 bulbs. I've thought about hanging a 4' 4 bulb fixture on each side of a tray with 8 plants sandwiched in between for better light penetration from both sides. It's a thought.:?: Crop around mid to late June ;-)

Thanks for the link my friend. :weed:

I hear ya bro.

I transplanted 18 of the rooted clones into 1 gal pots. Have about 50 now. another 50 still incubating.:weed:

Good idea on starting those other JS x HJ. Even though most of them hermed on me I have one outside in a 2 gal pot doing just fine. Those CJ clones are growing like rabbits. It looks like I'll meet my goal of 100 by 4-20. I'm practically there now.

I'd like to throw those mommas into 12/12 for a little stinky but I'd need more filtration and odor control.

Thanks for the help and encouragement GT. I hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel. And a closet full o' jars.:leaf:
I cant believe the JS x HJ hermied. Niether of the parents hermied. I wonder if they are sensitive? TLD and Earl are growing them too so we shall see. Maybe they dont like the indoor, lol. Popping seeds tomorrow. Finally got things setup at least for popping.

I have had it happen a couple of time when I revegged a plant so that may very well be why his did. Some plants just can't handle very much stress...

Yeah, I was pretty wild with the light cycles there for a while when I threw them into sexing and back. There were a few bananas on all but one of them, but then again I only started a few of each so no big conclusion there. I'm thinking:eyesmoke:

Can't wait to see your new grow brother. and samples of course...bongsmilie

Yeah it was probably caused by my inexperience in dealing out their light cycles. Next time I might try something different to sex. I might even start them a few weeks later, although I have some big fat mommas now...lol

Oh, I took a count yesterday. 85 already outside, 70 still inside. 155 ain't bad huh?

Gonna be a watering nightmare...

oh well...

I have always subscribed to taking a clone off each plant and doing the light trick with the clone so the source plants dont get stressed. Some people cover a branch in darkness for 24-48 hrs and then see what shows up on that branch.

I like the clone way as I think it doesnt stress the source plant at all and they just continue to grow. Once sex is determined you can select the best strains and phenos, dump the rest, and clone to your hearts content.

I dont grow indo anymore as I like the great outdoors. Less fuss IMO. I would like to try a small grow in the winter after everything is down but to tell you the truth, after trimming all those plants I was dead tired. That is back breaking work. Well worth it though when you can donate to people in need.

Thanks roc :weed: I am

hehehe. I went from 24/0 to 18/6 to 12/12 to 24/0 to 16/8 to 14/10 to 16/8 blah blah blah. :o No wonder they were confused. ha!

Yeah, shoulda listened... :hump: next time huh. I like that covering a branch idea. But I weeded out my males even though I confused some. my bad, ha

I was just loaded down with having to take too many clones to just sex I was thinking changing the light cycle would just be easier. yes & no on that. Live and learn,

Yeah the great outdoors is where it's at for sure. All those free lumens $$$ Hell yeah.

Anyway, the outdoor clones are getting free light. Most have been transplanted in 1 gal pots, some still in 6".

The males are still chillin'

The big news today is that I found a pond high enough to provide me with a siphon source. Hot fucking damn! :hump:

That should get me water to a number of potential sites...

Expect to see these openings filled with ganga

But first I need to get busy with my tools...get the ground ready and such for my babies

I'm getting too old, too tired, and too crazy to be digging holes with a shovel and hauling 10 gallons of water at a time in buckets.

I always wondered why there was so much old hose in the creek bottoms...duh! lol

So that's it today, except for all the work I'll be doing. Better pinch off a little medicine first...bongsmilie

Thanks for the visit and as always... comments always welcome! :leaf:

See ya on the other side :blsmoke:

looking good slab, i'm glad you're having success with cloning. I've been waiting for a week and a half now and still have no roots....the bases of all the cuttings have swelled up and looked like they were gonna pop roots but i dunno wtf is going on... they have all started to yellow in the leaves... and now in the past two days things are looking 50% more yellow.....???I'm so upset i'm about ready to quit growing. I've spent so much fucking money on this shit and my only pay out was my outdoor last summer...now that I live in colorado at over 10,000 ft.....outdoors is really not an option for me anymore... i just wish cloning was easier...i dunno maybe the strains are just a bitch...the first time i ever tried cloning I only took 6 cuttings and 5 of them rooted with no problems...maybe it was because papaya is a easy one to clone...cuz over the summer i tried the same techniques with my power skunk and armageddon with little success...i finally got a few skunks to root after like 2 weeks!! now i'm trying to clone strawberry cough and pineapple express....fuck cloning god damnit!!!!

sorry slab i didnt mean to vent on your thread... im just really down right now and if you have any pointers on cloning i could use a few...cuz i've done the reading and i've done the science experiments i just cant get it i guess.

Yeah some strains are a bitch. My Violator Kush is a tough cookie. Only managed a half dozen or so of her. Some like the Papaya and Jack The Ripper are like high school kids at a keg party. I'd say just try something different but don't give up.

That elevation is tough alright. I used to live at 7250' so know what ya mean. Three month growing seasons (if you're lucky) suck big snow drifts, lol.

Thanks for swinging by...and don't feel bad; venting is part of the healing process :weed:

I guess you are using some kind of rooting hormone, humidity dome, and a heat mat? That and I'll trim back the fan leaves where they don't have too much weight or draw. I'm having much better success that way than the bubbleponics for me anyway. And faster roots (for me). But sleeping with those air pumps running was kind of tranquil. ha

My new strains showed up today.

Now I can add

White Rhino
Northern Lights
Chrystal

and I still haven't tried growing any of my

Auroura Indica
LA Woman
Lemon Skunk

Kushberry x Skunk
LA Conf x Skunk
OG18 x Skunk

and I still have on hand

Pretty nice assortment here but always looking around.

volcomrider they usually start yellowing a lot for me right before the put out roots and if the bottoms are swelling then they most likely are going to root. And slab Im doing a ton of strains to and my dna skunk crosses are looking killer and are super easy to clone, I am about a week or two from harvesting so when I do I'll throw up a couple pics.

well first i tried making a "bubble cloner" but light was getting in and causing algea to grow and bringing my ph levels too high so I took em out and just put them on a bed of hydroton with some water in the bottom of a tuperware (water with a few drips of superthrive) also misting once a day now...(water with a few drips of super thrive) and keeping plastic wrap over the tupperware with a slit in it to allow some air to get in at this point...but yea just made my cuts and went right into water with them then took them out cut my 45 and right into the clonex gel to the rockwool, which was soaked in ph 5.5 water with superthrive overnight...

thanks guys for the input...i was seriously hoping the yellowing was normal.....maybe its just taking longer in this case....i pulled apart a few to look and from what I saw...where the clonex gel was applied the stalk appears almost "cauliflower like"....
