Skunk smell

I've just finished drying my harvest, it looks all good lots of dark red hairs, tricomes etc but it doesnt have a skunky smell, it smokes all good too tastes really smooth etc. could flushing with just fresh water for more than 2 two weeks before harvesting cause this, It had a really strong skunky smell during the grow too.

The curing is what will bring out that smell. At first when they dry they typicaly smell like grass clippings. Curing will bing out the taste and the smell.

Also, sometimes the smell from flower is just that, from flower. They could bring on a whole new smell after the cure.

In my experience, most plants are either skunky, or fruity during flower. Once cured, the smells are endless.

my room atm reminds me of when someones been bakeing and you walk in the door, kinda sweet smell to it that makes your mouth water....

Yea, my aunt came over the other day, and swears she smelled a skunk for one second as she was walking into the house(on the porch she says). She says it smells no-where else though, and I'm content with that.

my whole house reeks of ganja when im drying. I prefer to hang them on a long piece of stem from the stacks of dishes in my kitchen cabinets though. be it skunky or not, it is strong is it not? if not it hasnt cured all the way.

Just curious anyone, how strong is the smell in the room when you hang dry your bud that first week or two.. does an entire room or house smell like weed?

Hey virgin, its all about the quality of your weed. if it's dank weed. then yea, your whole house will smell most likely like mine hahahahaha.
