Skunk Pharm Research in May High Times

Just got advance copies of the May High Times, where Skunk Pharm Research was featured on pages 52 through 60.

Hats off to Elise for being gracious and kind in her writeup, and for being a good student in the bho and alchemy classes.

Some pictures of the Skywalker and Greencrack that Joe and I extracted specifically for the project, but alas the clear shots I hoped for didn't make the cut. I had a bad camera card that day and missed all of the pictures.

Both were extracted using denatured alcohol and dry ice for the recovery tank and the Skywalker was almost transparent, while the Greencrack looked like electric yellow stained glass. On a scraper, not so much................

Anyone interested in the details might pick up next May's copy and crack it to page 52, plus check out the rest of the articles and advertizements. One of the other articles is a list of strongest strains.

Congrats to the skunk Pharm crew!! They all deserve the recognition!

also, i've pretty much given up on high times, unless there's something in it that sounds interesting from the cover, other then that, i really like skunk magazine way more then high times anymore..
skunk seems to be more of what high times used to be about, more growing info, excellent info on organics by the rev, and they tend to focus more of the smaller breeders out there and not the old ass ones that take out two page ads and pay for the kind things said about them..
i love the milf section of skunk, pretty much a small, couple of page section, like a grow report, smoke report built in one, and focused on smaller breeders, like i said earlier..

Nice, don't read HT much anymore but might have to pick up the May issue..

I'll buy that issue! it's been 10 years but for a featurette on S.P. where I can point an say that's my dude right there.... I'll pony up the cash for sure.

Congratulations to team Skunkpharm.!!

This is a monumental moment imo... Skunkpharm should be recognized by even more renowned publications, like Time Magazine for example.

The groundbreaking experiments have done amazing things for the modern canna culture.
Kudos.

This will be the 2nd High Times Magazine I've purchased in over 17 years..

I predict this issue will paramount any issue it's previously published.

I doubt they can/or will produce enough copies to meet the public's demand.
I predict a sellout and they will have to print” archives” to satisfy the curiosity and demand of the periodical.

I hear that shit, I was actually thinking about going out and getting one recently and now I just may with this article on Skunk Pharm.

Several times in their articles of concentrates I met different errors and absurdities that lower the credibility of the publication. This very specific topic requires a competent scientific editing.
Imo, They ought to invite SPR as a permanent consultant.

The other self proclaimed” Guides to Better Concentrates” have all been seemingly counter-intuitive to everything I've learned from the likes of yourself, Gunna, foaf, and of course brother GW..

And damn, I wish I had some hash oil in here as opposed to the damn Hydromorphone.
Strong, but not as enjoyable.

One could argue that including SPR suggests they are making moves to upgrade their publication and attract a more technically oriented audience.

Although we support legalization of cannabis period, we are actually more focused on how to extract and use it for medical purposes, and approach it differently than has typically been done so in the past.

Consider the publication is formulated to appeal to a specific (mostly younger) cannabis oriented culture, and highlight the sort of things they covet. As one might predict, that includes a lot of exotic glass ware, often used by scantily clad buxom sister women, and other latest craze coverage. Stuff that is of little interest to a technocrat, well maybe some of the scantily clad buxom sister women, but certainly not focused on our crowd.

The author flew in and attended our bho and alchemy classes at High Times expense, so clearly they are willing to educate their writers, and my guess is that if this crowd sent letters to their editor telling them what they do and do not embrace, that they would see a positive response.

Above all else, they are business folkels, trying to produce a product that sells.
