Skunk#1 is very easy to grow, pretty much idiot proof. If you are growing indoors you will definitely need odor control because the shit stinks! It isn't the most potent shit in the world but has a quality high. The last time I had a bag of it I forgot it was in my pocket walked in a store with it and everyone was staring at me and then I caught a wiff, just one little eighth and every one could smell it through the bag and my pants THE SHIT STINKS!!!!!! You wont be sorry, I think it is one of my favorite old school strains.

for sure sounds good. this will be my first grow using 400 watt hps n DIY aeroponix setup. 1 or 2 grows before but only bagseed. planning on kicking it all off soon after the new year .... was looking into purchasing an ozone generator and then throwing that on a timer to run like every twenty min.
not sure if i would need that though. my grow area is setup in a small walk in closet with no ventalation. I usually have a few fans running because it can get quite hot.... looking into some dryer ducting and an inline fan but again waiting for paycheck...

not too well versed on carbon filters/// going to look into that.

When I used to grow indoors I built my own carbon filter and bought a blower and ducted everything myself in a small closet 2 400 watt mh/hps switchable and man I had a window a/c unit running all the time when the lights were on and a fan. I still had problems with heat. I grew some Skunk#1 and some Maui Wowie I only had problems with smell when the power went out. I have never used an ozone generator but for small setups it is unneeded as a carbon filtration system will do the job cheaper.

hey Reefs, sorry to hear it's an all outdoor hobby now :( specially in Curd Country. I was wondering what You used for your carbon filtration system? (yeah, carbon right) I mean did you diy it or go with a Can filter or what? I'm adding another 150w hps and will need to rework for more ventilation. Plus I'm tired of trying to only run less stinky strains.

Thanks and stay warm.

Peace

Built my own using hardware cloth (basically like chicken wire) pantyhose, heat ducting, (6inch to 4 inch reducer) hose clamps, 4 inch end cap, and fish filter activated carbon. It was really easy to make (under an hour) and cost like $30. I found the specs on Google.
