skunk #1 10 weeks, what would you do?

Hi,

these 4 skunk#1 plants have been in flower now for almost 10 weeks. there are pretty much no fan leaves left on it.

we had a nute issue early on in flower, which caused a lot of leaves to curl and die, which wasn't great.

I have looked through a scope and cannot see any amber trichs yet, there hasn't been much movement in the past 2-3 weeks. we have now been flushing for around 2 weeks.

I am starting to think they are not going to amber. also it's worth noting one of the plants is a confirmed hermie - we took a sample about a week ago and found a couple of seeds :-(

so my question is, what would you do in this situation? I'm leaning towards cut.

all opinions welcome.

thanks

btw - I can snap some more pics if it helps.

have you been flushing? do the seeds look mature?
yep, been flushing for 2 weeks now.

from the sample we took about a week ago - the seeds looked a little underdeveloped.

another question, because of the nute burn and crispy leaves, is it still possibly going to taste good with a major trim job?

I apreciate the quick responses -thasnks

i would imagine that it will be okay since you flushed. Maybe the seeds are underdeveloped because they got pollinated late and thats y your plants stopped producing buds. They are basically just there to attract pollen. Its a 8-9 week strain id probably go ahead and chop it but it's your call.

imo they look like they could just be over there prime, now you probably would need to let the seeds mature, youll get some new growth on the buds, like horns... add a little more weight

what would be the benefit of letting the seeds mature if they're not desired? to be honest, I wouldn't trust the seeds as I only think they hermied quite late into flower?

another question, if a plant has turned hermie, so now the bud is riddled with seeds, is the bud still smokeable?

yeah they do look a little overmature but they really dont look that bad your not smokin leaves anyways. Obv something went wrong but the leaves are going to change to yellow anyways when they mature and you flush. I think your in possession of some serious dank there!

of course the bud is smokeable and if it tastes like crap just make some cannabutter. Your plants probably hermied because of the stress possible light leaks? and the nut burn so those could be 100% female seeds:0 I think youll be pleasantly surprised with the smoke its not as bad as you think.

thanks a lot for the advice pipe dream +rep
cheers to all for the replies, I shall be chopping these asap.

out of curiosity, how can a plant be over mature without amber trichs?

this is our second grow, first grow we cut too early, thiis time we cut too late.. so odds say next grow's going to be awsome.

peace

thanx for the rep Im not exactly sure you need to take a close look at the trichs with a magnifying glass to really see them. Overmaturity is when they trichomes have gone amber and start to degrade. But just looking at the pistols they dfinately just look overage. Anyways I dont think growing it any longer would do ya any good seeing as the leaves are all dead? or at least yellow. Let us know how the finished product comes out. O and where you get your skunk#1 beans from I got some from flying dutchman im not growing em this rond tho
