Skagit Valley Green Cross

Hi everyone, just me, here :)

Almost a year ago, I moved from Snohomish to Skagit County (mostly because a place I could afford finally had an opening)

I had been growing for myself the last 3 years - I checked & checked local city & county info & thought I was ok, as long as I stayed very low key (odors & such - went with plain Jackberry F2 & Mad Scientist, mostly from Sannie's)

They were coming along just BEAUTIFULLY! (they were the picture of vibrant health! I only have one set of T5s an 8 bulb 4' set, which have worked well enough for me although I hoped to eventually get a couple more sets)

Too late I discovered by calling Olympia that anyone living in federally funded housing is not even permitted by the federal govt to possess, much less consume one's medicine - and forget "manufacturing"!!!

So here I was with these beautiful & killer stock plants & in a world of "oh noooooooooo!!!"

I didn't know a soul up here (I still really don't - I don't get out much, I guess is why, which kinda sucks, sure would like to have some older patient friends in my age group)

So, I called the only person I'd met so far up here - that was Nick from Skagit Valley Green Cross - and he did the great favor of growing out my plants for me, it not only saved my bacon (won't have enough for a whole year but at least a little over a half a year, now! Won't have to buy crap in a bag with broken trichomes etc because of this!)

Now, granted, there were some misunderstandings - I think when two people who don't know each other at all have interaction(s) & one is overly paranoid (thanks to a few well meaning friends & a family member) & the other is an incredibly busy! busy! busy! person, there are bound to be misunderstandings.....!

But I want you ALL! to know that Nick came through for me, & I would not hesitate to recommend him to you if you're up here in the Skagit Valley :)

He's really good people & my life is better for having met this fellow!

I know there are those who prey on patients but Nick from Skagit Valley Green Cross is DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THEM!!!
I want to make this VERY! CLEAR!

I'm grateful as hell to him & couldn't have asked for a nicer friend or advocate & he did a wonderful job of growing out my plants for me!
It has helped a very-low income disabled older lady more than I can say - not to mention, it would've been a terrible waste of some of Sannie's great seed! (that would've really broken my heart!)

Just wanted to make sure everyone here knew how I feel about this!!!
Thank you all for reading, please pass the word if posssible!
Feel free to contact me anytime about this!

Most sincerely,
Annieji in Skagit Valley, WA :)

Oh boy, I sure did and do, too! :)

I had the same provider for ages when I was in Snohomish County, but I was really paying far too much & just could not afford him anymore - to be honest, it'd been several years & although his product was top shelf & always delivered in a nice glass jar so it would remain top shelf, it was so far above what it SHOULD'VE cost me I just couldn't keep him when I moved up here - and he wasn't willing to drop his price ($300 an oz)

When I didn't have much to be able to spend (getting all my stuff moved up here cost a few bucks because gas was really high last year when I moved) & I also bought an Extreme-Q Vaporizer (which I really really LOVE!!! Awesome machine with an even better price! I've used a Volcano & they have nothing that great over the Extreme-Q, I'm so glad I asked some online patient friends what they bought and/or use!)
My new apt is supposed to be 'smoke free' & at the time, I had no idea how management felt about cannabis, much less cannabis smoke (I wanted to keep a low & discreet profile, as well)
So didn't have much money for a good while after I moved - had to pay back some loans for gas & the vape & between that & just monthly household bills, for more than a few months, I was pretty poor (more than usual, lol - plus I was saving for seed from Sannie - at that point, I hadn't learned about federally subsidized housing & cannabis, yet)

Nick never once forced a "minimum" on me or I would've had to do without.....! My very last crop ended up destroyed (long story, not my doing, the person I asked to just finish them, they'd just been put to flower) & that really hurt - Nick is a compassionate soul who realized I really didn't have a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out, & he always would bring me a bit more than my anywhere's from $30 to $40 those early months here, & I'll never forget that!
I'm a pain patient with a crushed tailbone, serious disc dengeneration & herniation at L5/S1, plus other bone problems in that area (went off a step, up into the air & landed almost perfectly square on my butt on a concrete deck 4.5' below - I knew I'd really hurt myself but had no idea what would happen in the coming next 5 years as it really got bad - I had to finally just demand an MRI from the doc I was seeing - & of course, that showed the mess inside - took about 5 years from the original accident to get that MRI)

Nick did a truly excellent job of growing out my beautiful plants & I'll always be grateful to him! It really would've been an terrible waste of excellent quality plants!

I'm in the VERY! low income category & his actions will help me so much this year there aren't words for it!
I seriously need to get some new tires for my car (at least the wheels aren't big, they won't be a whole lot) but even a couple hundred bucks (plus tax & other stuff like balancing, etc) is a goodly chunk for me - thanks to his actions, it will make it SO much easier on me to take care of that & some other things I need to take care of, his good deed really goes much farther than I suspect he realizes :)

He grows an excellent quality product (although we did luck out majorly on our rainless growing season over here this year! :D) & is just good people :)
Again, I'd recommend him to anyone in this area!

He's a busy busy busy! fella but a strong patient advocate & I feel like this area is lucky to have him! ;)

I'm very glad that I met him (& not only because he grew my plants out for me,) he really IS an awesome good soul that will never quit advocating for patients in this area (& everywhere, actually)!

My life is indeed better for having met him & I will always be grateful to him for growing those out for me! ;)

Again, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone up here in the Skagit Valley area!

Not only really saved my bacon & helped me out more than I can ever say, I met a really decent, compassionate, & fair provider, as well as a great friend & advocate!

I have to admit I feel guilty for being so suspicious of him - but again, I know my online patient friends & my brother in e WA just wanted to make darn sure that I didn't lose what little I had to start with :)
Some of our early miscommunications didn't help but I'm glad he proved my brother (& a few others lol) wrong :)
I am so delighted he turned out to be one of the good guys! :)

It takes awhile to get to know someone, too

He will always have a star by his name in my book! ;)

Sorry for being so long-winded!
But I want to be sure that the folks who were concerned earlier in the year for me know that it turned out really well & I was happy to make a new friend, as well!

What's CL, slk?

I've taken a bit of an internet break as of late (political stuff was driving me nuts!) but I'm a fan of NWGT, lots of really good folks there, too - several of them donated to me, too, when I didn't have ANYTHING last winter (except power bills lol)

I'll never forget that as long as I live & try to pass/pay it forwards! ;)

oh ok Craigs List - can't say I'd feel very good about using Craig's List especially when there's other means - like Weed Finder

I love NWGT because you can go straight to the grower & communicate immediately with them - even see the product!
Awesome resource for WA patients!
