Size Ratio of a Three Room Perpetual Set Up...?

Hello Forum Fanatics
(even Alaskans).

I want to prefix this thread with the admission that I am an absolute beginner and this post is really about satisfying my curiosity, more than making serious plans for an upcoming grow.

I want to know the size ratio for the three growing areas of a perpetual grow system.
Area 1 - Germination/Propagation, rooting cuttings (I think Mothers would also reside here - but I am willing to be corrected).
T5HO illuminated, I think...? I don't know what else is needed as this part is unknown to me.
Area 2 - Vegetation, MH lights on 18/6 schedule. Enough ventilation to prevent humidity, high temps and scrub the air.
Area 3 - Flowering. HPS lights on 12/12 schedule. Enough ventilation to prevent humidity, high temps and scrub the air.

If Area 3, the budding area, was a 70 sq ft (8' x 8' 9'') - which I guess would need to be the biggest area, as it accommodates the plants during the time of their greatest size.
What size would Area 2, the Veg area, need to be?

I have a perpetual system using only 2 rooms. The veg room is about 40 percent of the size of my bloom room. I do all my clones in that room too. I just put the tray on a bucket if the light is too high due to size of vegging plants. When they root i put em in red soli cups and just put em round the sides cuz they dont need much light. I have found that using flourecents is good for an even canopy but no good for the way i just mentioned. I would use a 400 or 600 to veg and use a couple 1000w to bloom. It really doesnt matter much which way you do it just so long as its fun, easy and produces the results your happy with. With only 2 rooms and 2 lights it is very easy to have a nice harvest every two months. Currently my veg room supports 2 bloom rooms and is poweref by a 600 in an enclosed hood. Hope this helps. There are many ways to do it just pick one you like! :)

Oh btw just keep your mamas topped in the veg room or take clones off veggin plants before you bloom em. Keeps the canopy somewhat even and things moving along easy. Good luck bud

Veg room just 40% the size of the Bud room AND you use it for cuttimg/Mothers....
That's better information that I dared hope for.
Thanks, Chernobe.
You have been very helpful.

i agree, to use the veg room for the propagation room too. If you have the 3rd room free, maybe use it for a dry/cure room.
