the Tor bounces your IP address around. You can still be tracked if they follow all of them. It just takes longer. In the cyber world there is a loop hole to everything. Nothing is perfect.

I have a few computer programmer friends who confirm this.
if you are on line, nothing is safe...
if man made it,another can defeat it..its that simple.

The acid I tried for my first time was bought off of SR, I have a few orders coming in the mail although they're taking a little longer than expected so fingers crossed nothing went wrong.

U.S. brings new charges against accused Silk Road creator
By Nate Raymond August 22, 2014 5:39 PM

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. prosecutors have brought a trio of new charges against a Texas man accused of creating the underground online drug marketplace Silk Road.

A new indictment against Ross Ulbricht, 30, filed late on Thursday in Manhattan federal court, added charges of narcotics trafficking, distribution of narcotics by means of the Internet, and conspiracy to traffic in fraudulent identification documents.

The new charges came on top of four other counts previously asserted by prosecutors: narcotics trafficking conspiracy, continuing criminal enterprise, computer hacking conspiracy and money laundering conspiracy.

Ulbricht, who prosecutors said was known online as "Dread Pirate Roberts," lost his bid to dismiss the earlier charges in July. He faces trial on Nov. 3.

Prosecutors say Ulbricht owned and operated Silk Road, which they allege served as a black-market bazaar where drugs and criminal services like computer hacking and forgeries could be bought in exchange for the digital currency bitcoin.

The superseding indictment filed on Thursday accused Ulbricht of personally distributing and aiding in the distribution of substances containing heroin, cocaine, LSD and methamphetamine.

It also accused Ulbricht of engaging in a conspiracy to sell fake ID documents, such as drivers' licenses and passports, on Silk Road.

Federal authorities shut down Silk Road last year, though a new Internet marketplace under the same name debuted in November.

Joshua Dratel, Ulbricht's lawyer, said in a statement the new charges demonstrated the government's attempt to convert a single alleged course of conduct into a set of multiple, interchangeable charges.

The prosecution's goal, he said, was "to improve its chances of having a jury, overwhelmed by the sheer number of charges, agree with the government on at least one."

The case is U.S. v. Ulbricht, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, No. 14-cr-00068.

can anyone show me how to access these sites? i got tor i just dont know any to go to. ive heard of people using something called pgp to send messages through them. are btc's the only thing you can use to pay on there?
Download the tor browser and then enter the url: silkroad6ownowfk.onion
And pgp is required by almost all vendors for obvious security reasons. This is also easy to do but I can't describe it in one sentence. And bitcoins are the only acceptable form of payment. But they are not hard to get, I buy weekly.

That's the first silkroad creator. He was a fucking moron and made just about every security mistake you could make.

Here's a summary of some of the things he did wrong: http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/everything-the-silk-road-founder-did-to-get-caught
That article describes the breadcrumbs the FBI followed after they imaged the Silk Road server, because DPR stupidly didn't use TOR to access the server for administration. How the FBI found the server itself wasn't explained in the indictments but was finally revealed today. Not isolating the server so it can only communicate through TOR was the n00b move that led to his downfall. However, all indications were that he was a smart guy with a physics rather than cypherpunk background.

Yeah but if you are not a large dealer you are not a target, guarantee that. And even though tor isn't 100% anonymous network you can do many things to improve security. 3rd party network(like starbucks)-Tor-VPN and you are nearly a ghost. You can even change your MAC address every time you connect to a 3rd party network so they cannot look at the network logs and pinpoint the MAC address to the original one given by the manufacturer. Plus most of these guys boot off of usb drives that are encrypted. And any sensitive data is encrypted and their system is completely clean with no give away of their true identity. It isn't hard and you would be quite surprised how effective the online black markets can be if you know what you are doing. You do have to watch out for back doors though... The feds can come in through the back door on many devices but once again you have to be high profile enough for it to be worth their time.

You have to be smart and tech savvy, something tells me you are not very tech savvy and I am not sure how smart you are. You don't know what you are talking about but it really doesn't matter. But good luck, if someone like you started selling without having the first clue as to what they were doing I would expect to get caught very quickly. And you have no idea what I get but you can assume anything you would like to.
