Silica and enzyme?

Never used either but I want to give them a shot when should I start feeding the plants with these?

I use silica after they are established in something other than a solo cup. Usually after my first up-pot. No enzymes here though.

What are you growing in? If its coco I advise being careful adding too much potassium.There are some silicas ive heard that dont use potassium as a carrier.In any case I dont think silica is really needed when they are very small.As far as enzymes,I start treating my water about the time I actually start feeding nutrients.Although I dont and never have used hygrozyme or the like,I use a pond cleaner enzyme called total pond.

My soil is blended
6 1.5cf roots
2 1.5cf fox and
3.8cf promix bx
My first thought was to feed with the first dose of nutes but I can't find a solid answer anywhere the scilica is armor si 4% potash and
the zyme is .30 .30.30
Like I said never used either but I heard good about both so just wanted to see for myself

I use protekt for silica, about 2weeks into veg. I use it almost every water after seeing other people do. For enzymes, dont quote me but I use barley seed SST every 10 or so days and Coconut Powder about the same.

My plan was every watering for the silica but I was unclear as when would be "safe" the zyme is 100% organic so that's at Least safe "er"

Look into Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth. It is a pesticide 85% silica

Potassium Silicate is a very important and overlooked addition.
It helps build strong stems and leaf cells helping to prevent stress, drought, and hot/cold extremes. Use it as a foliar as well, doubles as a ph up. Perhaps it's a coincidence but I haven't dealt with any powdery mildew for the 3 years I've been using it.
Great stuff.
Like resin said, be careful if it's coco, there are Na/K & Mg/Ca ionic exchange shenanigans that do occur.

100% agree but prefer bio Silica as its pH neutral.

You can foliar the K silicate and avoid coco K+ issues as long as you go lightly. You don't want runoff dripping in your medium, just in case.
