Sideburning... What the FUCK?!

Honestly, these joints I'm rollin are looking fucking perfect. They should be burning perfectly, but they're side burning like crazy! How the fuck can I stop this? The rolls are looking perfect, I don't get it? Help!

You mean like the joints running?

that usually happens if it is loosely rolled.
You said they looked good so thats probably not the case.

Maybe the weed isn't broken up enough? that can put gaps between the paper and some of the weed. making the paper in the spot burn faster than the paper in the other spots.....

Stems can cause this easily...

when it starts running, put a little spit on your finger and rub it right behind the "side burning" area... it should slow it down :bigjoint:

wouldn't you want it facing down? .. since heat rises.. having the running area facing up would only make it hotter and make it run faster, wouldn't it? :eyesmoke:

just get right infront of where the joint is running with a bit of water or spit and it will give it time to catch up

The joints are deffinitely not loosely rolled, and I have a grinder so it can't be the buds being too clumpy of anything like that, the consistency is perfect. So when you put a bit of saliva onto the side burning part do you leave it for a little while afterwards to burn by itself or what? Thanks guys!

The dampness of your spit will slow down the burnin so js carry on toking up after youve done it and the other side will catch it up:)

Ok.....in reality....

A perfectly rolled joint wouldn't run......you can say it was perfect until the cows come home but obviously it wasn't

If you had to get it wet to make it burn right, it wasn't a perfectly rolled joint

Yeah man, I'm saying it looked as if it was rolled perfectly, and I don't change my rolling style at all, but there are times it burns absolutely perfectly and times that it does not.
