I am going to be running an experiment with three different types of nutrients:

1.) Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect lineup three part system.
  • Grow
  • Bloom
  • Micro
  • GH Armor Si Silica

  • Pure Blend Pro Bloom
  • Pure Blend Tea (Seabird Guano, Earthworm Castings, Fish Meal, Kelp, Humic Acid)
  • Vitamino (B1 Supplement)
  • Liquid Karma (Kelp Seaweed Extract, Seabird Guano, Fish Meal, Potassium Carbonate, Humic Acid From Leonardite, Yucca Extract )
  • Hydroguard (Bacillus Root Innoculant)
  • Seaplex (Cold Processed Seaweed)
  • Clearex for Flushing
  • GH Armor Si Silica

3.) Roots Organics Buddha Line
  • Buddha Grow (Bat Guano, Kelp Extract, Soy Protein Hydrolysate, Mollasses, Worm Castings, Yucca Extract, Humic Acid)
  • Buddha Bloom (Bat Guano, Kelp Extract, Soy Protein Hydrolysate, Mollasses, Worm Castings, Yucca Extract, Humic Acid)
  • Trinity Bio Catalyst (Mollasses, Kelp Extract, Yucca Extract, Soy Protein, Humic Acid, Quillaja Extract, Aloe Extract)
  • Ancient Amber (Soybean Firmentation Extract and Nettle Extract)

The test subjects will all be of th e same strain called Fools Gold (Malawi Gold x Colombian Gold) They will be grown under a 400 Watt MH then Flowered under 400 Watt HPS all plants are under two weeks old and started outdoors which explains the stretch in them

For Soil I am using Pro Mix I mixed with added Perlite, Vermiculite, and Pulverized Dolomite Lime. Let's see what happens.

It may take a couple days for them to get adjusted to the light and new climate as it stays 77 average in the tent and it's been very hot outside lately. They will lose their stretch soon as well when I start lst.

Nice comparsion to due, too bad you couldn't use clones that would definitley help show the difference you're looking to find.

I can do that too be honest. I'll clone the Strawberry Cough in the tent when she gets a lil bigger. I was thinking the same thing all day.

Its the only really good way of getting a decent answer, both from the same gene pool,if your using seed's one of the seed's may just be a better pheno than the other so this will stand out over the other, even if the other is doing better because of the nutrients.

I did one a few year ago advanced v canna and canna won by about 4 oz from two plants two done with advaned two with canna,so 2 oz per plant that was sensi pro a/b veg and flower big bud and over drive then canna a/b canna boost and pk 13/14

But both nutrient line's did a lb per plant 4 plants and 4 x 600 hps lights auto pot's = 4 -1/4 lb

I agree with you there forsure. It is what I will do with the Str. Cough then the start of the test will just have to go on hold for a little bit. It was kind of a spur of the moment desicion due to the fact that I jist had some unused nutrient line's laying around. But I have been thinking the same all day different phenotype will produce un decipher able results

I bet the end results will be the same . but thanks for posting this very good experiment .

Hey no problem brother! The reason I am doing this experiment is because the Roots Organic line is fully organic, the botanicare is as close to organic as possible though not fully organic with some immediately available nutrients in it. The Advanced a nutrients line is 100% synthetic. So this is what I am looking to compare not so much the different lineups.

hell yea . I tried a bunch of different line ups as well . that's why I currently use a cheap plant foot 6 bucks treats 1000 gallons of water to a 10/10/10 and a cheap ( kgrow ) its a 5/55/10 sold exclusively at Kmart lol . 5 bucks a bag treats 500 gallons . I tried fox farms heavy 16 beastie blooms we all heard of . on and on and more . I get the same results . for organic I cant comment on I always used chemical fertilizers have to flush for 7 days straight water only down side . my next experiment I want to get one of those cheap mars hydro lights and see if they really work like lot of people say lot of good pics to prove it . so ill do a hps vs mars hydro experiment . as soon as I get some extra spending cash .

I'd very much like to know what the outcome of this experiment is because I'm interested in using advanced nutrients perfect ph but I've been using botanic hair the botanicare progrow for a while..
Advanced perfect PH is new tho and after many years I have PH issues! Thanks!

If you all of a sudden are having PH issues after running the same line for years, then you're probably having a problem that has nothing to do with your nutes.

And for the record, I get more bounce and shine when I use botanic hair.

It's nothing new. It's been around for over a decade.

Get ahold of the guy who ran it 6 years ago. This thread is dead.
