Problem seems to be in the vein area started with brown spots up the veins and followed with leafs fading yellow until death. Already lost several leafs and do not want to loose more. The stocks of the branches and main shoots are streaking w/ purple and stems of big dying fans are turning redish purple. It started in the middle to lower part working its way up.

I have 2 girls different strains 4 weeks into flowering. One is a Jamaican strain unknown, and the other white widow. The one experiencing the problems is the Jamiacan strain which i believe leaning more towards Sativa. The other plant is currently healthy but may be getting lighter coloring on the leafs, but this problem has progress for over a week on the first plant . I have tried flushing it with R/O, seemed to make it worse, then i gave it some Big grow, following the F.F feed schedule, and still no possitive response. Contiunuing on with the schedule on my water day i gave it a little more Epsom, and still keeps getting worse.

I think possible K def. but first thought N. due to 4 wks flowering but the Big grow didnt seem to help. What can i do to slow this down or fix the problem im half way done so i just need to get the stress out.

Suggestions greatly appreciated, still kind of new at this.

i think you're ok. once you put the plant on 12/12 it starts to die as part of its natural life cycle. yellowing and dying fan leaves are part of the process of using up the last stores of energy to produce buds. as long as the buds and their leaves are healthy then the plant is doing what its supposed to.

some people add a high n nute with their blooming nutes to slow down the process - you tried it once but it was probably too little too late to help the fan leaves.

There's nothing wrong with those plants. Keep doing what you're doing, and then harvest those fat buds.

These plants normally die once they flower.

Updated pictures, i hope you are right and all is good, except this doesnt look to normal. Isnt it to early for this? She doesnt look very happy.

I was going to pick up some cha-ching maybe it is time for that, or will i be just adding gas to the fire?

thanks

Doing some research in the mean time it looks like its a lack of P which i think someone replied earlier. I have been giving it about 1-2 tsp per gal every other watering and its 4 wks flowering is that normal, and if so what should i bump it up to?

The other one is just starting to show signs of this problem on big older fans, it is also shorter about half its size. does that explain why it was healthier longer?

i'm using fox farm too and hating it. it did the exact same thing to one of the strains i'm growing. magnesium. spray it with .5 tsp epsom salt (MgSO4) dissolved in a gallon of water. it'll be all good.

try magnesium. Start there. Good Luck.

THIS. THIS. and SO much THIS!

I've delt with the problem before... I dunno if you've solved it yet, but if not I would strongly suggest getting some epsom salt (wallgreens, ect...) It solved my problem and my leaves looked JUST like yours, and THIS is what it was! I use 2 tsp of epsom salt per gal of water.

READ: http://www.epsomsaltcouncil.org/garden_why_it_works.htm

My second grow, caught on up the page where the problem started, it's towards the bottom: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/304375-lst-cfl-diy-closet-build-6.html

Hope this helps, good luck bro

DSC00263.jpg Yes, this is most likely yellowing due to flower! Correct about that here..... But this next picture MOST DEFINITELY IS NOT!
DSC00266.jpg This is for sure either deficiency/toxicity of Mg most likely. Leaves DO NOT NATURALLY do that during flower. They do like the first picture, and yellow. They do not brown up and dry and crisp naturally... I do not know where you heard that.

He said they're 4 weeks into flower. I don't know about you, but at 4 weeks into flower if I start seeing leaves like that, I KNOW there's something going on. The plants leaves start to die off more in the LAST COUPLE weeks of flower. Not half way through...

Don't tell someone not to worry when clearly something could be done to make the plant healthier. That's all I'm saying. Don't tell people things that you aren't for sure on, it could cause death to their plant.

It's not like I'm some sort of professional, or think that I'm this all high and mighty grower. NO! I'm only on my 3rd grow, but I can tell that those leaves are not SUPPOSED to look like that, at 4 weeks into flower. Leaves are NEVER supposed to look like that on a totally healthy plant.

And to OP. I'd still go the epsom salt direction if I was you. My $0.02 anyways.
