Thanks Tragik, I got it from marijuana-seeds.nl. Cheap, nice yielder and tasty. Hands down the easiest plant I've grown. I think she likes O natural growth pattern a lot better but I'm happy with the LST I guess. I need Co2 bad! Shopping for it now lol. My ppm's are in the tank due to being in a basement. I only have a small box but I want bigger better nugletz.

congrats on the harvest

Pure Power Plant, a household favorite! :D
one of my favorites to not to grow but to smoke. ive never got a chance to grow it but im sure i would love it. it isnot the most potent strain but is still pretty dam strong. PPP just plain ol power plant are grown for quantity cuz they produce alot

One of my favorites to grow and smoke :D People on the forum keep telling me it lacks in potency but after 5 runs my friends like it better than White Widow, Crystal, Ice, and Bubblegum. Part of that is probably because it is so forgiving and I am certainly known to fuck up now and again lol. Still working with the seeds I bought on a budget when I started since I've mostly cloned. I bought the seeds for ease of grow and the PPP definitely follows suit in that category :D If anyone wants to recommend a strain easy for beginners this is the one!

Coming this summer: Shackzilla, El Monstre, Killing Fields and Hericules. Just started the veg of one of each of them and I'm hoping they are the cock punch dank.

whats with the big rock in the first pic?
I finish off my plants by fully submerging their container in water. I use the rock to hold the container down while the water level is always above the container. Drowning! It starts the curing process prior to chopping. Makes my smoke smooth and easy, I am a cougher big time!

Have a great easter MCP!

I have been drowning my plants but plan to do a test on my Wembley. Half will get harvested after a flush and letting the soil dry, then I will drown her for 4 or 5 days and compare the 2 staggered harvests.

it sounds like the flush and the drowning are the same thing to me. both of them are getting large amounts of water flushed through the soil and then drained out. right?

and from what BKB said it sounds like you fill a tub with water then place the plant in it to soak or what?
im just curious as to what the difference is as to flushing if it poses the same purpose

No. I personally don't 'flush' in the normal sense of the word, but I use organinc nutes with RO water and I MIR (Make It Rain). In between most feedings I MIR by feeding 2 - 3 times my normal feed volume. Most people that use the MIR technique rain/flush with more water than I do, and they usually pH the water down, but there are a few variations of the MIR technique already. 2 - 3 days later as it is drying, but not quite dry, I feed with just enough nutes/ferts to get a little runoff. Then I let it get very dry before I repeat the process. Some people MIR every watering but the last 1 - 2 gallons of the 'rain' has nutes and/or ferts.

After my last feeding, when I think the plant is getting close to harvest time, I will try to give at least one more MIR. When it is ready for harvest it goes into my pre-harvest ritual. It gets put in another bucket and watered during the day, and again the next day if necessary, until she quits drinking. Then she goes into darkness for another 48 - 72 hours. Then she gets cut and hung whole, with all sugar and fan leaves for 4 - 6 days. Then she will be trimmed and spend a little more time in and out of paper bags if they are still not yet getting crispy.

I am going to try and test this process on my next plant by trying to give at least 2 MIR's before harvest. Just before I drown the plant I will harvest half the plant's tops, trim them completely, and hang them to dry like I see most people do it. Then the other half of the plant will be drown, go into darkness, and hung before trimming, like I have been doing.

This is the thread that brought the technique out of the shadows.

i haven't posted to this thread in a while because i lack decent pics. i do have this one mk ultra that has about 15 tops on it about 5 weeks into flower. i don't have any good pics of the branching but you can see that the lst is really doing its thing here. for reference the pot is 3 gallons and the plant lives a crowded life under a 400w hps. some side shots and a bird's eye shot.

I like Rasp use Making It Rain but I pH my water cause I dont have RO water. I think I am going to try the double feeding you do Rasp to see how that works.

Here is what I did with my Hero plant....

I MIR last week, that was her finally feeding, after that I waited for her to be totally dried out and flushed her with Water/Molasses. When I say flush I ran about 12 gallons of water through her and then my last 3 gallons was mixed with Molasses. Waited 2-3 days after that then I started to Drown her.

My Plant is in a 3 gallon container so I put a Brick inside a 5 gallon Homer Bucket and put my Hero plant ontop of the brick inside the Homer Bucket. After I did that, I just added plain water inside the Homer Bucket holding down my Hero Plant and put a heavy ass rock on top of the plants soil so she wont float up and stays fully submerged in water.

After a day or two of that you will notice she sucking water down so I continue to top the Homer Bucket with water. Once she stops sucking in water, I chop her!

Hope that made sense, pardon my spelling errors and grammar. But the thread Rasp posted is a must read!!!! I learn alot about growing by trying new and different things. I like trying new things cause it helps me find my comfort level for growing!!!!

Here is my Hero today drowning, She isnt sucking much anymore so i will probably chop her tomorrow after work.

Hey bekindbud what exactly does the drowning process do? Does absorbing all the water fatten up the buds? Do you have to hang it longer after you chop? thanks for the info!

It speeds the curing process making a smoother smoke IMO. I cough my ass off when I smoke so I am trying different things to get the smoke as smooth as possible!!! I will say that plants that I have drowned might of taken a day more to dry then ones I havent drowned. It does swell some but nothing that will add to your yield. All it is for is a better cured smoke! Check the thread that Rasp posted, real good shit!

@Rasp: My next test is a soil (mom) and DWC (Clone from mom) to see the difference in smoke. I always here that soil smoke is better than hydro smoke so I want to test it.

Hoped that helps....

Heres my dinafem cheese. Was a freebie. I was hesitant to grow her out but since my kushberry and sheherazade beans died I plopped her in the dirt. I am very satisfied with this strain shes a heavy eater and is looking to be a nice yeilder. She smells wonderful almost cheesey if that makes any sense. Very potent. She is lookin to be some bomb smoke. Her triches are about 70-80% milkey and about 20-30% clear. Im thinking she has about another 4-8 days. I topped her and tied down her two colas. She grew out very semmetrical. She has about 10 tops on her.

The thing that I really like about drowning is that the un-cured bud tastes pretty damn good even if you are smoking on it before the mason jars. I have been smoking my Wonder Woman since Friday, that was cut on Monday. It only went into jars today and is still so sticky that I think it will go back in paper bags tonight or tomorrow for a short time.
