How's it goin man. Was set in your direction by MCPurp. I tried the MRS technique,but my internet was in and out. Did it last night without pics or guide. It looks like in your pics you just used a small part of the bottom main branch. I am at 2 weeks flowering,and instead of trimming off one of the bottom branches on 4 different girls I bent the hole branch over,clipped the end off,spliced up the middle of the cutting,stripped back a few growths,dipped it in water and buried it. Wasn't sure if it was to late and this is something you do only in veg or whatever. Gonna get some pics tonight. Interested in your opinion. Peace homey.

but yea it sounds like you shud see some MAJOR growth soon. iv never tried this in flowering tho, not sure if that will affect the success of rooting? but from the sounds of it you did everything correctly. i wanna know the outcome tho man!! lol

Hey Purp,let me make this simple. Would you like to see the way I performed my MRS on your LST thread? You seemed interested,I guess I did it totally different than recommended,but I am gonna update success either way. I am going to tie them in place tonight. I bent them and placed them but didn't tie em. Now I gotta move em around tonight so I will tie em. Let me know. You want it in this thread or you want me to keep it PM with Jumbo?

go right ahead and post how u do it and pics if u take some always cool to watch other ways of doin things, so keep it here cuz im interested this thread will be full of not only lst help and guides but mabye soon MRS guides and techniques if soone wants to try to come up with a guide of how to and what not to does. it would be pretty cool

hell yea that would be badass, AM I NORML had a preety good post about it, but im sure we can add stuff from experiencing/experimenting with MRS. im taking more clones and hopefully will do a side by side comparison grow. same soil,lights,temps,enviroment,etc... n ill be sure to post all the pics n info of that here when it all happens lol

sadly i cant participate in the expeirencing, and expermenting as i dont grow for my self in the summer but i have some tomato plants i can try this on and still see if the MRS makes the plant grow better in some way. i will post a few pics only if i get it to root so i dont croud my MJ thread with veggies. althogh i was thinkin about LSTing a few of my veggie plants to get further knowledge on plants for when i do get to do my own outdoor mj grow

i have 4 blue dream clones that are a month or so old, i've had them for about almost 3 weeeks now and i was thinking about lsting one of them and topping / fiming the other 3 and seeing which of these methods i like the best. this being my first grow i think it would be cool to see the comparison of the 4. I also ordered some fem master kush seeds from tude and it came with some complimetary bubba kush so im looking forward to those getting here in the mail. i been reading threw this and a coupe of other lst threads and it looks like a cool method hopefully you'll check my grow out and gimme sum tips to further this method

True that bro. I can't wait to get outta the ghetto so I can grow veggies. And it does seem like a good way for you to practice.

well i will tell u to for sure try lst, and topping. but not FIMMING a FIM cut is a failed topping attempt, i really dont like the idea of a FIM or ( FUCK I MISSED).
also if u lst with one pant thats around other un lsted plants make sure to try to make the kst plant up with the un lsted plant so it doesn't get shaded out if that made sense. also if do top i would use UBs method for four main tops u top at the second node and it works geat also topping at the 3rd node works good to i did 4 with topping at the second and all got 4 main shoots. i topped on the 3rd and all my plants had 8 main shoots i will check your grow to when i can find it

I was planning on doing the below the 2nd node method to try and get 4 tops with a coupe of my plants and maybe just let one grow normal any input on my grow would be much appreciated as i haven't gotten much feedback since i've been on here, although the people i have met seem super chill. thanks again

u dont topp below thesecond node u top right above the 2nd node for the 4 main shoots. and i willcheck out your grow

whats going on! it s been a while since i been following up here still got my plants lst ing them i wanted to fimm or super crop but i think when i changed my mind to put them out side and save on elec a bit for summer stunted them for a bit so i kinda missed my chance too do anything but they have recovered , this time around i am upping a few things watering every day in stead of every two unless it rains which i wanaa get a little canopy for when it does rain. every few days i ll be putting 1.75gr's of big bud everyday she will get 1 tsp of floranova a cap of root and enzyme stimulator and rotate between mg (1tbs) or some other a and b formula for veg (1 cap of each)and if it doesnt rain i flush with tap water.for six plants i mix into a 1gal spay jug phd at 5.6 to 5.8, ec 2.1.but i dont know if i should even bother with the veg food that would bring down my ec to around 1.8or a bit lower also i dont put big bud everyday either. will do some back tracking see what has been going on here

hey macrael. so ur plants are outside in the groune correct? sounds like u know what ur gonna do already, but instead of having to feed them by hand why not put some fertilizer i the dirt so u dont have to for the first few months. and ph for soil that u have up is a bit low. the ph should be between 6-7 i like 6.5 but if its been working for you then dont change it. are u gonna beable to get us some pics

oh and godfrey hows the MRS comin along. im still gonna try on a tomato but i want the plants bigger first still we just finally started to get sun here in Oregon

i should have some pics soon and i do check my run off its around 6.4 i do have some bat guano in there thats about it opps i forgot to mention that there in coco the last time i switched from a 6inch er to the 10's&12,s from soil to coco which i think was n t a very good idea so outside now i got some 6 lst in coco and the mother i kicked her out side too but shes in half decent soil with all kinds of stuff in there. on 3 of them i tried fimming i believe that's when you kinda pinch off the higher bud sites and on one of the 3 i tried super cropping( pinch the stems) the othere 3 were still recovering i think a little under developed a bit also the mommy was topped a while ago and was recently fimmed also.going to read some more

u shouldbe fine with the coco i love coco but i dont use 100 percent coco. and ill be waitin for the pics, and i will check your joural to to see how your grow has gone so far

i love pic #9 great examples of LST. AND if u accept i would like to nominate u as the last co owner of the thread, i said danthebull is but hes not here on a regualr basis but he can be one to still when he comes by. hooked your plants are great and your doin a great job on lst the more you do it the better u get and i can tell great work.
