already bought the hps but fuck it i needed an uprgade for next winter anyway lol.



so i got an eye horilux bulb, can anyone tell me why this one was 70 dollars when regular hps bulbs are like 20? i figured fuck it if im already spending 150 bucks i might as well bring it up to 200 and have something good

so i got an eye horilux bulb, can anyone tell me why this one was 70 dollars when regular hps bulbs are like 20? i figured fuck it if im already spending 150 bucks i might as well bring it up to 200 and have something good

i did a lot or reading to understand more reguarding lighting before i bought my eye h bulb. im convinced from the experiments and experiences of experienced growers, not by the shit they try to feed you. i think that its well worth the money. mind you its the only bulb ive any experience with but i bet when those nugs start poppin and fattening up you wont be thinking about that extra 50 jmo

I have a Blue Cheese that's every-fucking-where. Someday I will have a nice pretty circle like some of you have. ;) I swear to God I've fiddled with those strings once a week. Just Supercropped all the bud sites this morning. The Spouse has a boner to go into 12/12 tomorrow. I think we need more time, but hey...

lookin good! yeah i was generally speaking about flowering temps....i tend to drop my nights a little cooler for the last two weeks for extra bag appeal.

They eye horti is one of the best bulbs on the market. You pay a premium for both brand and quality. The Eye Horti puts out a wider spectrum of light(more blue) which makes it an excellent light for veg and flowering. I use a 600 watt eye horti

One consumer complaint you may hear about if that the Eye Horti doesnt fire up with the 600w dimmable lumatek digi ballast. I believe this problem is fixed now, however.

If you do have an older 600 w lumatek digi ballast, be sure to buy either a digiluz bulb or an Ushio. I keep a spare Ushio alongside my Eye Horti just in case.

Eye Horti lumen value should be about the same for 9-12 months(bout 3 grows). After that, I would switch it out so you maintain proper lumen levels(lights degrade over time).

cool thanks for the info man, and im not sure what kind of ballast is coming in my light. i ordered a 250w sun system 2 and it has an internal ballast with air cooling and "optional fittings" so im hoping i can put a duct hose one it so i can run it out.

LOL....$70....that's cheap.....you'd shit if you saw what a 1000w Hort. Super HPS cost in my local grow shop.....I would say 70 is fkn cheap...and I bet that's for a 400watter isn't it!!!

lol close...250w, i think 400 would have been too hot for my little space.. shit im scared the 250 will be too hot. waiting for it to come in the mail still

Thanks BKB for the +rep... if you are still following the thread sorry too me so long to respond...Also I don't know who asked "show me" with a +rep but I will post some photos on how I do what I do shortly. Planned on doing it soonen but been battling spidermites so don't want to stress the plants out too bad.

Thanks Ras...Again if you are still following the thread sorry took me so long to reply. I don't do any training in flower I should though. All of my training is in veg/shortly before I put the plant in to flower. I like the single tomato/scrog screens because I grow in coco so it allows me to be able to move each individual plant as needed vs. just having them all under one screen across the entire grow area. But canopy management is the key thing regarding my technique. I have a Grape Ape I failed to manage as well and the yield won't be as great but it will still be good! Here is an update pic along with a reveg/reflower Blue Dream with some LST too. Day 41 of flowering...Enjoy

Nice, here is the under-carriage of my CCOB Wonder Woman that just got drowned/darkened in preparation of harvest. I was planning to let her go another week or so but she was 99% cloudy at 49 days.

Ras just noticed you sig...are you running 600 hps and 400 mh for your flower? That is what I'm currently doing 1 600w Digilux HPS and 1 400w Eye Hortilux Blue.

Yep, 600 horti super hps and 400 horti blue mh, all crammed into a 4x4x6.5 tent. I just got the carbon filter hooked up yesterday, finally. :hump:

you lucky bastard you. i wish i had the ballast and enough cooling to be able to cram a MH in my cab. oh god that would be so nice. my lights come on in about a half hour so i will post up some pics of where im at. my bitches be leanin!!!! i might have to stake cuz the buds are getting so fat and plump. and whenever i open her up i worry that its just all gonna come out lol. so ill post up some pics in a little bit. theyre are looking gorgeous. its an 8 - 10 wk strain. and the others that i got in there are just a bagseed that i fell in love with. some one told me its either Nuken or OG Kush. its a citrus bud. has the god bud leaves so im leaning towards the god bud x kish (nuken)

my main grow was started as a 250 w HPS grow with snow white from nirvana but it ended up being the snow white also the BC God Bud 2.0 Purple god bud. which is wonderfully fantastic buds. smells of baby shit...and tastes like berries. its a wonderful combination. and the bagseed
NOW my grow consists of a SUPERCLOSET Deluxe 2.0 that i inherited. With a 400 hps with some blue in it. Space is 2x3x6 im gonna scrog next go around with a snow white clone. just do one plant see how much i can pull off of her with the 400 watter. i think i can get a decent qp to hp with this light if done right. does anyone know anythreads that have a 400 w scrog with just one plant? i want to do some research to see what a great yield would be so i can beat it lol

ONtop of that just got a new Lenovo Laptop.. MY FIRST LAPTOP that is. :
