Excuse me Mr. King. I'd like to ask you to give me just a moment of your time. You have an opinion..and thus are entitled to one. Many have given and still do so that you can voice that opinion. But in their sacrifice, it is allowed for idgets to speak often, and then be overcome with the sudden and often deadly AHS. AHS (Anus Hole Syndrome) is a specific condition that occurs when one accidentaly or intentionally lodges one's lower appendage(s) in their anus orifice. The condition requires immediate medical condition, therefore I urge you to get to an ER immediately, you might still have time for them to save your foot. As food for thought during your long and extremely painful recovery know that the LST is mainly used for people such as I with limited space issues. In my specific circumstance I grow indoors because of climate only and therefore need an indoor area at least 8 months of the year. LST allows me to grow specific strains for my symptoms with success and without extreme expenses. So while your opinion disagrees with the technique, that does not give you the option of being an idget with AHS or just a jerk. Politeness is an option, but people have used it for generations with much success. You shoud try it, it would more than likely prevent a future attack of AHS.

I'm sorry if the pics are not very good quality.. I have to do with what I got. I do hope you have enjoyed :bigjoint: :leaf::leaf::leaf: :bigjoint:
hey man great looking lst, thanks for sharing

5 of the 6 girls are lst'd count the colas
wow i couldn't count the colas, but they look fat as can be and looks to be some good smoke. if youtake dry weight you should let us know, and any one else to you can post your results of the lst and weight you pulled off

I have started a new grow, MANY strains.

Starting from the rear left, Og Kush, Blue Dream, Og Kush
Bottom right Bubba Kush Chernobyl, bubba kush White rhino and a lemon something.
They are nearly ready for flowering, one week until 12/12
Sorry for the pics, HPS and cameras do not mix well

hey man they look good but no lst? its ok. if your flowering under any thing under 1000 watts though i would bend some of those lanky bitches over.

Thats funny cheese, I only saw show me what you got and I said ok. The LST is a way of training and cutting plants. Let em grow naturally, some say it works, thats fine for them. I rarely top my plants either, it seems a waste of time to me and it stunts plant growth. I guess the only times you would "TRAIN" plants by either bending, tying down or snipping and clipping is for growing room size and/or more or fatter buds. I dont sale my medicine so I dont require the weight. I have tried many of these techniques I have read about and MANY/ALL of them are just stoned idiots snapping branches and sticking nails through the main stem for bud production. A bunch of these stupid things are all over the place. I average 1/4 pound for each indoor plant, a 1-2 pound grow without those idiotic techniques is fine by me. Been growing and smoking own bud for two solid years now. Best bud in this years "Smoke OFF"
these are not idiotic techs. if you dnt like them then leave, ive proven to my self that topping, lst, and supercropping can and will increase yield. the nail thing is stupid though i agree theri. ive only grown about 2 years, smoked over ten years, and have been around great growers my whole life and they all have grown 30 plus years, and they all do some sort of lst, topping, and super cropping. all this has been proven to work so where is the proof it does not?

Not to mention I grew up watching my parents grow. I woundn't get bigger tomatoes if I snapped my tomatoe plant. just a good comparison. Two years of trying these things is a good personal test. This grow now is all me and what I found works. only about 10% of the techniques really do anything. If you believe most of it then yeah yur pretty gullable. You forgot...I am not a drug dealer and dont need to force my plants to produce more, my potency is great and weight is norm.

BTW-If someone has grown for 10years and is still doing these silly things then he had not been growing for 10years. Common sence people. LST and cropping bending pinching is all bullshit. Tying down sidways for light penetration is very logical. People who believe in that probably believe praying to god gives you bigger buds......
you would get more tomatoes and the same sized ones if you did tie over and bend down though, cuz it create more main shoots leading to more fruit. i was gonna be nice and not care about your post of your plants but then you had to come on LST thread and bad mouth it for no reason, your a troll so please just leave. you are the 1st one to bring BS to this thread.

to every one else this guy has no clue what he talks about just let him post if he does and just ignore him please so the thread does not have pages of BS.
Thank you all for making this a great thread

I'm about to start my 1st grow in a week or two and have been going nuts trying to get ideas to incorporate into how I WANT to do things. I unfortunately think that I don't have enough room around the area (a tent in tight quarters, don't worry good ventilation though) to do a SCROG so I've been reading into this LST method.

I have 5 fem'd Nirvana Blackberry and 5 fem'd White Castle and want to know if anyone (or know of anyone) that has had any LST experience with these strains and if so how did they do.

Do the LST - it saves space and is super easy, all you need is twine and a few screws around your container. It will increase your yield. What's to think about?

sorry but what is lst all about????
Low Stress Training=
1. stronger branchs
2. higher yields.
3. Healthier plants.
4. Easier to maintain the plant (trimming etc)

Step 1, pull the top of the plant down.
1208100049.jpg1216102211.jpg In the second pic you can see I have a thick wire hook I made from old coat hangers holding the top down.

2. Continue to tie down the top as it grows out and up.
the beach and needle7 293.jpgAs you can see, there are times when the plant grows past the pot and one needs to improvise to maintain the training. You might also notice how full the bottom of th plant is at this point.

3. continue to tie down any top and the plant will bush rather then tree.
1205100041.jpg

4. Flower time, all trimmed up, repotted and tied down. Note how even the top of the plant is.
1208100100.jpg

5. This is a couple of weeks into an 8 week flower. The plant in less the 16 inch's tall from soil to tops, in a 5 gallon pot.
1214101659.jpg

6. Side view of the same plant 4 1/2 weeks into flower. At this point the plants are still no taller then 22 inch's from soil to tops even after I untied them at 4 weks in flower. The weigth of the tops keep the branch's down now.
From others growing the same strain "Clone only" I am more then doubling their yeilds using the same medium, nutes and lights.
Where others are getting 1.5 oz's I'm doing more then 3 and 4 oz's per plant.
0111111150.jpg0111111151.jpgLook at how thick the stalks and branchs are and how easy it is to see and get at dying leaves and how it can get planty of air flow.. They need to be strong and healthy since they are all going to carry the weith of the tops. The tops, all the beautiful beautiful tops. I have a sea of green with 6 plants... Who'd a thunk it..

Alaskin died, but the Donkey Dick is doing awesome. Right now the veg lights are off, but I will get you a few pic's of them for you when they come back on. They look a lot like the Mango plants do at this point. (guess I need to change my signature)

Both Mango and Donkey Dick are high producers with 45 to 60 day flowers. Some Mango's may take the full 60 while other finish in 45.

The Donkey Dick is responding better to LST then many of the other strains do.
Train wreck coming in a close second.
