Should you Facebook old lovers?

The title says it all. I just heard from a old love, and it made me smile, but my wife unhappy. Simply old friend shit (40 years), nothing like about the times down by the first bar we could get into, or the drive in, or the, the, well you get my point (we were 17) where we made passionate love in my spacious VW in 1972.
But, the question remains, as I have just experienced, do you friend women that you once loved or ignore.
Can a friendship remain, or is it impossible for former loves?

If you're both truly adults then there is no reason why a friendship couldn't exist.

And if you or your spouse are worried it will lead to something more in the future (being friends on FB is lol anyhow), your time would be better spent working on it (your relationship), and not on FB.

Or not, if you want to move on, move on...

Only you know what it is you really want.

If can be difficult with a significant other, however that being said this happened in 1972, i see now reason for two adults with a past history to connect with eachother, however consulting your current significant other listening to their concerns and speaking your mind on how it is, that you have no feelings for said person, and are simply just connecting to an old friend.
Open communication and honesty goes a long way .

The world is a long time if you look at it through eternal eyes ....... It becomes short if not :)

in my eyes everyone's going to get to know everyone eventually ..... personally :)

so it doesn't matter wether you get in touch with this chick ...... Its going to happen in the future ( in my eyes )

just depends which set of eyes you look through to make that decision:)

gooooooood luck :)

Just had this recently. I had a Facebook friend request from none other than the guy I lost my virginity to (him too) and was with for 2 years. It ended badly and although we had friends in common we never made up or hung out and went in different directions.
Regardless of my bf probably not liking it, I don't feel the need to become friends with him 'for old times sake'.

I did however nearly accept his request just so that I could message him
'I'm really glad you were my first because you certainly had a beginners sized penis!' Then I thought fuck it, I can't be bothered. :)

Omg Sunni! You are so right! If they were bonking over 40 years ago, in the early 70's, then they are probably way past it now!! Safe to proceed! :)

This reminds of one time I went camping with my newly married wife and there were 5 other women there that I had slept with at some point in my life. I think we're all facebook friends too. Do whatever you want, it's just facebook.

However, I'm not married anymore and if you want to stay married then you should never take my advice.

But, if I were you I'd get a divorce and fuck whomever you want, whenever you want. That's what I did/do.
