i think the motherfuckers should mind their own business. if they would have come out 20 years ago and told everyone straight out that they would be keeping track of every single thing they did online, things would have been a lot different. they never told us straight out. they hid all of it in 1000 page eulas that they knew no one would read, they purposely made them as long, dry, boring, and confusing as possible....that's not honorable behavior, and i say it entitles us to go kick their fucking asses and demand they stop it right goddamn now.
i'm calling on every hacker in the world to find and publicly release every bit of information they can find on every executive at Google, at facebook, and twitter, and every website that takes our information and uses it without our permission....and burying it in a long ass, dumbass eula is not getting my permission, it's getting my fucking ire...and guess what, no receipt, no return....

Not to add to your stress, but you do get that blaming them is like blaming @rollitup for all of your data here being available to everyone right? I think we have to have some personal responsibility for not thinking about the long term impacts of everything we do online being out in the open.

I was bored one day, and was clicking on all the tabs on this site. I think it was under guests, but not sure. Anyway, I stumbled across all the major search engines using bots to read all the posts. If you post it, it's out there forever.

this is true, but i've been alive since before the internet existed, and i'm here to tell you, it was NEVER just told to anyone straight out...they started out hiding the shit...yes, you should read an e.u.l.a. before you "sign" it....have you? ever? they're all in tiny print, written in legal gibberish, designed to be painful and confusing, and anything important is placed directly in the middle of a sea of drivel....
is it really our fault when they purposely make it like reading a hand written prescription in latin from a doctor with cerebral palsy?.....

Clearly... I love delusional idiots
Seriously, it’s almost hard to believe that someone can be so dumb.. honestly, I thought he was a pretty effective troll and was laughing for a bit... then I realized he wasn’t joking and it made me so so sad for whatever led him to be so stupid. Genuinely makes me sad to see such a pathetic and ignorant person claiming intellectual superiority on scientific subjects... I feel awfully sorry for his family, friends, and coworkers for having to put up with such a fucking idiot.

*Multiple live reactions.

Yeah, Google used to be a white page with colorful letters that used to help me find porn better than AOL or Yahoo..
Data mining and people tracking is a multi billion dollar industry, they ain't stopping sheet.

Tos on all websites are gibberish bullsheet.

Isn't that collusion? :-)

They will argue you can opt out of their services. But they would still get you from CCD, traffic cams, phones etc.

I agree they should stop but they won't.

Don't forget about google earth's Antarctic cartoons. bongsmilie You Globetards think we humans are hairless monkeys on a spaceship (shaped like a ball) made of rock and water flying through the universe at 67,000 mph as part of a solar system moving 514,000 mph. Stupid AF lmao bongsmilie Just accept the reality presented to you. You over fluoridated zombies.o_Oo_O

I

I stopped using google long ago I only use DuckDuckGo. Google has become so big and powerful it’s scary they already monitor everything now they have their own phones too. Damn oversized companies I swear.
What concerns me most is finger printing. Even without knowing your identity if they just kept track of all search queries, what you specifically search is unique, and can be traced back to you from that alone.
They'd need to keep track of that too for the very fact, how else are accurate results made?
General AI doesn't exist yet, and personally I don't think will ever exist.
The best we can do, right now, is exploit big data using billions of users, and Bayesian statistics.
If all they could do was know who I am, I'd not really care. So it really all boils down to, is them quantizing me as if I'm some sort of predictable AI too. Which we might all be.
