Okay I bought a Tjerlund M-6 inline fan from amazon and I installed it into this air ducting vent in my grow room. It is able to keep the room at around 82 degrees when my 1000w ballasts are on 70% (600w) I made it so it was sucking air from the room but I read somewhere that you want the air coming into the room. This duct goes to the whole house I’m pretty sure. I don’t really have any idea what the fuck I’m doing so I just cut out that whole part of sheet metal and installed that fan. It seems to be working alright because I left the lights on one day for an hour and a half and came back to find the room at 102 degrees. I just moved the ballasts outside of the room so I wonder how much of a difference that will make. Anyways should I switch my fans position so that it is blowing air into the room instead of blowing? Also what is a good temperature/humidity for Hydroponic growing?

Your fan should be pulling the air out. You should have passive intake 2x the size of the intake.

You want temps 75-79 deg with lights on.
