Hello every1. I have 1 plant that is exactly 9 weeks old today. Its almost 4 weeks into flowering, and ive noticed the bottom 2 branches really are not doing much. Is it safe to cut them off at this point? Or would that cause too much stress at this stage?

I am currently on my first grow. :leaf: When I first started I read about super cropping and lopping. Some said these steps didn't work and would damage the plant. It didn't. Lolli popping (clearing the lower half of the plant of its vegetative growth), that's what you are talking about. I have left my lower stems on they have produced smaller nugs but I bet they will taste great.
Word is you can remove the under growth 3 weeks into flowering and then you should stop. Some growers believe that trimming and pruning later than this can stress your plant. Read as much as you can. This site is wonderful:lol:

if its only a few branches , should be fine yet. clipping off a few smaller buds at the bottom wont hurt either.
it only helps out the tops get all the goods. dont wait much longer to trim her up. if your strain is a lock hermy problems shouldnt arize anyways.
ive tipped over broke branches, tied them back into place and got the biggest buds off that branch.
