i am wondering if i should top my plants when i grow them because i want them to grow as short as possible and with my strain it says to expect one big cola and I want more smaller colas so its easier to trim it.

I would suggest doing LST. There's a great guide somewhere here on the forums. Do a search and you'll find it.

Nah no need to top outdoor plants. Topping is used indoor because of space confinement.. Just let the outdoors do its thing.

wouldn't hurt to it if that's your goal, maybe even retop after the new shoots develop some height.

One thing to keep in mind if you're stealth growing is that you may end up with some 7-10 foot plants that will fall over as soon as they get heavy with flowering. You'll need to provide a lot of support if your plants are growing well. If you can't afford the exposure of lines and support poles, you should consider LST to keep a low profile. You'll still probably need support, but using only 3ft supports instead of 6-8ft.

i would bend the plant, if i was going for steath. (but make sure you know what your doing or they could break.)
