Should I Harvest?

I am currently growing some white label super skunk autoflowering. Been flowering for about 6 weeks now. I was planning on harvesting on monday or tuesday. I know I'm definitely on the early side, but do you think my buds look ready to harvest? I wasn't planning on waiting til the trichs turned amber on my first plant, as I want to harvest this one on the early side and others on the late side to compare.

I'd let go one more week if your wanting to harvest more clear to amber trichs. See how the hairs are just starting to redden, while others are still coming out white. This means it's still pushing pretty good. You'll develop an eye for it because some strains pop white hairs all the way to the end but I'd wait till u see some more of those hairs turn red.

Same here bro.. has any of you trichs started to turn yet? A few of them should be.
Can you take a few more pics & post? Looking real good though! Good job!

I usually let autoflowers complete their life cycle instead of looking at trichs.. autos are different than photos, I like a stone high so I wait until all the leaves start to yellow then I flush, depending on the strain I let them go for at least 10 weeks... I would give your plants at least another two weeks, but that's just my opinion. Good luck

Once you've developed more of an eye for things, you'll just be able to look at her and be like yep she's a ready. Until then I'd check trichs for harvest time. Which also can b tricky I know! the heads should be big on trichs cloudy and amber in color depending on what u want. We all have our methods and soon u will develop your own. Then as an added plus you get sites like these where we can all talk and share our observations and experience to further continue our outward spiral. I don't throw any info out as we all can learn from each other.

thanks guys. I've decided to wait another 2 weeks or so after looking at some pics of ready buds too. I tried getting another picture but none of them turned out that well, but I'm pretty sure i'll be waiting a while anyways.

You can't really compare anyway, they are different plants. Genetically similar, not the same. That's one issue with autos, can never completely dial them in. There can be a lot of variability particularly in strains not so well done.

Do what these guys have suggested and wait another couple weeks or so. Maybe a bit less, keep a close eye on the trichromes. If you really want a heady buzz, cut the instant you see an amber one but don't cut it all at once if you want it all to be mature. It won't all be mature at the same time. Just like tomatoes. However a lot of guys do not do this for various reasons, namely styles of growing (SCROG, SOG etc) lending to more a more even complete plant harvest window.
