Maybe 2 weeks, To flush just run plain ph'd water for 2 days, some say one week. I never did but plan to try it this harvest, not sure if it really makes a diference.

2-3weeks left
flush generally depends on how much nutrients you use. i start flushing when pistols are approx 60-70% orange so 7 days later its about 75-80& and perfect for the type of high i'm after

5 weeks?! so you think that i should wait 5 weeks? not 2 or 3? ok so when i see the orangeish hairs its done right? what if i harvested it sooner say 3 weeks would it still be potent nd smokeable?

also im growing it outside for the natural sunlight for 12 hours then bringing it in the the house for the dark cycle would that slow down the growth proccess? and does unsulphured mollasess really work in getting fatter buds?

they say 2 weeks before harvest to only water with plain water, no nutrients. i've done this and it works great.

personally now i like to wait until the crystals first start turning amber. next run several gallons through my pots 2 weeks before harvest. wait until the water run off stops turning color and is more clear. the first gallon i run through though i use flora klean to help break up any salts and nutrients. can't really say how good it works but i use it anyway. look at the crystals everyday and usually 7-15 days they're about half and half amber/cloudy then i harvest. you can also put your plant in the dark for 2-3 days and some say it helps nutrients go back from the plant into the soil. i've done this but hard to say if it really made a difference.

it really is a personal preference. some like letting there plants go a bit longer than others. they say the longer you let it go the more couchlock or sedated buzz you get. but also if you let it go too long thc degrades too much. harvest early and it should be a more energetic buzz with not as much of a burnout. harvest too early and you sacrifice yields. some strains also have a bit better of a flavor and more color if you let them go longer. i find a lot of strains even turn purple if you let them go really long. i've had a beautiful super lemon haze turn purple on me. this was not from the cold cause it was indoors. although this is also possible for all strains to turn purple if exposed to too cold of a climate.

yeah molasses works. it's nutrients usually with low %s. i never flush with molasses though at the end. be careful though, i once killed a plant with too much molasses. thought i could give extra since its not very high in nutrients. keep the doses low. not sure how it killed my plant but i think it just was too sticky and clogged up my roots. also only use horticulture grade molasses for growing, not regular food grade. also watch for ants. one reason i quit using it.

nice! it gets cold here around winter time which if im flowering its probobly not a good idea to wait that long but id love to have her turn purple. hey also what if i didnt flush it pulled it and smoked it is that safe because i did it with her sister. reason being i found a caterpillar in the bud and i guess its been in there for awhile just killing the thc so i was forced to harvest it i hung it up for a day to dry which i know its spose to be 3 days or more but i ran out so i did that then put it under a light for a little over an hour smoked it and got pretty buzzed but is it safe? anyways this plant that were discussing about was a little over a foot and the buds wouldve been great because it was fat from the start and got fatter after i started using the molasses so ya it sucked having to harvest her early

its sooo funny that you say watch for ants because as soon as i started using it they started showing up in my house mainly in the kitchen where my plants isnt because i leave her outside for the sun then bring her in. does that slow down the bud growth process doing it like that with the sun 12/12 and bringing it in at night for the dark cycle? yeaand about that molasses the day i started using it on my other plant is the nextt day i seen the change in it then 2 days later found a caterpillar eating its way arounnd in it forcing me to harvest early i waited a few day to see if shed bounce back but all the white hairs just turned brown. im thinking now maybe the molasses sweetness attracted the caterpillar or maybe from it being to thick but i only used like a teaspoon in a four liter bottle and i didnt even water it using the whole bottle since it was the first time id try it which im planning on using on this plant atleast once or twice a week.

i cant really say for sure or not if it's safe. but if you think about it, im not sure how the smoke situation is where you are but i like to say back in the commercial days before medical laws here several years ago when weed rarely had strain names, you never knew what you were getting. could of had some mites, bit of mold. stuff we grow now is probably much better and safer than stuff from mexico. i've smoked non flushed stuff from plants i killed on accident from experimenting and it just seemed like they were much harsher and tasted kinda like fertilizer. still gets you high though. now with medical laws in place though, growers need to step it up a notch to stay in business. although im also quite disappointed in most dispensaries and caregivers. it's still newer in michigan though.

i can't say for sure, but i would think bringing it in for 12 hours would make it faster. reason being normally outdoor plants at night are never exposed to complete darkness. there is always some light from the stars, moon, street lights, house lights, etc. i would think enhancing the dark cycle would only help. plus if your far enough north, you shouldnt have to worry about frost. a down side is the root structure wont be able to expand as much like a normal outdoor plant. however plants like those outdoors get huge and you don't want anyone knowing about it except your normal crew thats cool and keeps there mouths shut.
