Should I Harvest A Little Early?

I am having a mealy bug infestation on one of my plants that is 1-2 weeks from finish. If the problem persists should I harvest a little early or risk it and let it finish?

What? How in the hell do you get a mealy bug infestation? Are you growing in a barn? If you can remove the plants from the garden, go blast them off with compressed air and let them finish as usual.
