Should i foliar feed during flowering?

Short answer, YES!
Cheapest solution...
Just break up some aspirin and dissolve it in water. About 1 aspirin per 2 gallons of water and spray that after about 30 seconds of aerating (shaking the container) of crushed aspirin in the water!
There is an old trick to keep cuttings of ROSES alive longer, is to break up some aspirin in the water (very little - or at the above equivalence).
What it does is that it supplies the hormone which a plant would use food from its leaves to create. Kind of like a drug for plants. I have only heard that there is a similar effect caused by cigarette smoke - certain toxins (to us) can be useful for plants .... However, unfortunately the toxins involved in this beneficial process have not been isolated and I can only imagine that not all fumes from a cigarette are not healthy for plants.

That seems a little sketchy to me. Do you have a source that claims good results using aspirine?

As far as Tobacco. Tobacco smoke can be extremely harmful to your plants. Its Not good in Any way at all.

Thats why i posted this question, because my buds smell kinda like an old wet towel. my plants have yet to smell really potent even though there is substantial bud growth and many crystals. is that a bad sign?That seems a little sketchy to me. Possibly too much water. I wouldnt spray them at all. Whats your humidity at?

yeah, in all my years of growing i've never heard of the aspirin thing, def sounds a little shady to me as well! i myself only foliar feed during the veg state, i don't think it does that much during flowering and it's not worth the added mold risk.

dude i didnt read ur whole thread but as soon as i saw dissolving aspirin in water i knew it was a lie, dont do that to ur plants man, dont foliar feed u can burn ur buds, instead just use plain phed water man, no nutes they dont need anymore nutes than they are already receiving, bad post man....bad post

Aspirin contains salicylic acid which can speed up the plants natural SAR ( Systemic Acquired Resistance) in plants, which aids it in preventing pathogens and other issues. Aspirin in water can be used as a foliar spray, in extremely small dosages (1:10,000). Jorge talks about it a bit, but there are many other sources on this subject. Do a little reading... Im not saying that I have or will use this, just that it is possible.

i fol feed during flower i go halway through then stop you must have good air circulation and a good oselating fan
iuse dutch masters liquid light and wetting agent mixed with a little foil food and seltzer instead of water i wet them babes first thing in the AM

I just gotta say I live in the UK, and my Nan uses aspirin to keep fresh flowers alive in vases when she cuts them (roses, irises, whatever she wants to display)
and have heard of it being used on living plants, but have not seen this done and have never herd of it being used to foliar feed.............it does seem to keep freshly cut flowers perky for substantially longer in vases than without (it keeps them from "wilting" and keeps the colours bright)

I know asprin burns my stomach ,,and well my stomach can take more than a plant so I also agree thats its pure stupidity to use asprin on a plant ,,smells like a Fed answer or some lonely cop Phosphorus nutes and trace nutes and a good Ph purified water is all I would use ,dude God gave us every green herb that grows on all the face of the earth to use as meat and what do we do with meat people thats right we put the goodness inside us and reap what we have been blessed with all the good frost of a blessed plant spoken about in Genesis chapter 1 read it what can it hurt cause when he who says it is good well thats all I need to feel justified.....Mr.Greenleaf

Plain aspirin is Salicylic Acid which works great for rooting cuttings or keeping fresh cut flower alive in a vase. But it does not contain any hormones that i know of.......spraying your plants during flower only invites issues. Use it as a last resort to combat certain deficiencies....
