This is a pic of a plants which had almost all of their fan leafs removed during the grow. According to people who don't have experience and just repeat shit they've heard this shouldn't be possible.
WOW!!!kiss-ass

Stop being a sheep, I know it's scary, but you can do it.Yo Japanfreak I'll bet you a dollar I can out grow you. LMFAO stop giving bad advice.
Not my plant, just an example of defoliation applied to increase yield. I've done it in the past as an experiment and it didn't hurt my yield, got the same yield.WOW!!!kiss-ass
It proves nothing at all, you've got two plants and no control.

Hey, all input is good input at times! But pictures as evidence do help sway m judgment on some mattersYo J-12 just wait. This guy Japanfreak is trying to be the man with an ego instead of just giving advice. I'm here to give and receive knowledge on growing
So besides removing them earlier than later, thats the only thing that u benefited? Id say it saved you some time when it was harvest time heh?Not my plant, just an example of defoliation applied to increase yield. It proves that you can grow plants and get good yields with no fan leafs, but I understand that some people won't believe anything unless they read it in a book.It proves nothing at all, you've got two plants and no control.
I'm just trying to give advice but cant help myself when I see this site filled with people talking from a position of inexperience and repeating shit they've heard. Some people think that's ego, some can see past it. You obviously can't.Yo J-12 just wait. This guy Japanfreak is trying to be the man with an ego instead of just giving advice. I did it as a test really, saw people who have got defoliation down to a science and like most people I had always heard removing leafs was stupid, but unlike most people I wasn't afraid to give it a try.So besides removing them earlier than later, thats the only thing that u benefited? Id say it saved you some time when it was harvest time heh?
That's true, but if you had not cut them you should have been able to get bigger yields, especially in a SCROG since that's the whole point of doing one in the first place(to be able to get a nice even canopy for your leaves to receive max light). If you take clones and try cutting the leaves off one and none of the others you'll see the difference. Don't act like you even have to be experienced this is one of the first mistakes most newbie growers make. Everything seems great so why change it right... wrong, you could do a lot better. It proves that you can grow plants and get good yields with no fan leafs, but I understand that some people won't believe anything unless they read it in a book.
I've got plants bigger than that in veg right now they are all 3ft tall and 2ft wide starting flower today which is now Christmas Day. I grow monsters

People can grow big plants and veg a long time or grow small plants and get more crops in a year, many ways to grow a plant, it's the yield over years that count. I didn't say keeping fan leafs hurts plants, I said you can grow a lot of weed while still removing them.I've got plants bigger than that in veg right now they are all 3ft tall and 2ft wide starting flower today which is now Christmas Day. No I think a lot of people don't realize there are many ways to do something and are in the habit of talking about things they don't know.Big deal, you think nobody here grows or something? lol
Of course but when you've got two plants the size of the TS's there's not going to be any good done... it's not like they are shading each other out, they are spaced nicely and there's no reason to get rid of large leaves in favor of small ones.People can grow big plants and veg a long time or grow small plants and get more crops in a year, many ways to grow a plant, it's the yield over years that count. well here's thisHey, all input is good input at times! But pictures as evidence do help sway m judgment on some matters
You're missing the point, people who practice that style of growing match some of the best yields out there. Many report better yields removing the leafs. Some report lower yields. That's true, but if you had not cut them you should have been able to get bigger yields, especially in a SCROG since that's the whole point of doing one in the first place(to be able to get a nice even canopy for your leaves to receive max light).
