Should I bother switching light time?

Currently, my plants are 5 weeks into flowering and I have the lights on during night and off during day. I realize that temps should be a little lower during the night, so do you think I should switch it aronud? During hot days the day time temps can get up to 90, would that be better for lights on? I can get night time temps to about 75-80 on average. Should I bother switching it around this late?

I would think you should leave it the way it is. Wouldn't it get hotter if the light was on during the day?

To me it's more important not to get to hot than to cold. I'm sure your not in the fourties at night. And much over 80-85 during lights on could be bad.:peace:

if u can i would just put a lil ac in there or a swamp cooler that should help u with lower temps cuz u really want ur grow room about 75 and you will get more resin production than 80 or higher...and i know this has nothing to do with ur post but ur last 2weeks before harvest u can switch ur lighting to 13-15 hours of light to help ur plant use up all its remaining energy and enzymes sugars etc before u pick it

Ya, I have an AC unit up there. I leave that thing running all day and night now. The room is big and the exhaust is on 24/7 so it's hard to maintain really low temps at any time in there. During hte night (lights on) i can probably maintain 75-83 tmeps. During the day (lights off) I can maintain about 83-90.

yea damn thats rough maybe add a humidifier if ur humidity wont go over 65 and that might help bring the temp down or just add another ac if possible...and when lights off 10-15degrees lower then ur daytime temp is perfect

Ya I have one and keep the hum at 50%. I've been keeping exhaust on 24/7...do you think it would be ok to keep it off while lights are off so the AC unit can cool down the room a bit better?

im not sure if it will help dude i dont wanna lead u in the wrong direction but u should try it...i can tell u that higher humidity usually leads to a lower temp but when ur lights are off u want ur humidity lower then ur temp..i have a humidifier going when lights are on to keep my temp 70-75 and humidity at around 50-65 and when lights go off i turn on my dehumidifier to get my humidity around 40% and the temp is usually 60-65

Its not as important to have cooler night time temps than it is to have good temps in general. I mean that if your temps are in the good range, then you dont have to worry about changing things just to make the temps cooler at night. Your temps during the day are hitting 90 and thats with ac and lights OFF. 90 is a little too high and can start to stunt growth. You want to find a way to keep them at 80-85 or so. Your night time temps look fine and you shouldn't be concerned just because they are not that much cooler than your day time temps.

ya it can get aronud 90 with my lights off, but like i said, lights go off during hte day. I keep the AC on 24/7, but now I'm thinking about maybe just keeping my intake/exhaust off until lights come on during hte night, so the AC can keep the room a little cooler during the day (lights off). I just wanna be sure they get enough fresh air while lights are off

heres a pic if it helps at all... i just think if i could keep the exhaust and intake off during lights out (daytime) then it could help me keep the temps down a lot. Would this room be big enough to allow me to do that? Im just worried the air exchange wont be good enough
