red stems tend to come from a potassium def. see if you notice any purple streaks on your main stem or branches. im having that problem right now but just uped my potassium in my mix. the plants look real nice though

a lil color isn't bad for the stems could be a lotta things def they get purple and red when it gets a lil colder but mine always have that.

Truth is I am red-green blind (color blind) and I wouldn't know if I got red stems or not.

yeah red stems is a deficiancy. i would guess that if you gave it nitrogen that would go away, because when i gave nitrogen to my plant that had light light green leaves and some red stems here and there its leaves got big and dark green and its stems lost all red. but i gave it an egg. sounds weird to crack an egg into your plants soil but it works, ive been doing it since my girl was a teen and now its flowering and its healthy. i used to give them like once a week..now its like once every 2 weeks

It not a prob mate as long as 90% of the plant healthy and only old growth effected it not a prob. Red stems can be genetic trate of your strain so not always a prob. If it mainly on the uper side of shade leaves this is fine also. Good luck fella.
