Should I add a few 6500k during flowering?

Hi all. This is my first post since joining (earlier today), but I've been reading this forum and others for quite some time. I have grown a few plants outdoors in the past but this is my first time under CFLs.

After searching and reading everything I can find about growing cannabis under CFLs I still have a question. Would it be beneficial to add a few 6500k lights to my setup during the flowering phase? I am looking at starting with my current 8 plants which range from about 8" to 12" tall today. These plants came from bagseed so I expect to be left with only 3 or 4 females once their gender shows. They will veg for 2 to 3 more weeks and then will be switched to 2700K on a 12/12 schedule. I will be using 550 watts of 2700K and am thinking of adding another 160 watts of 6500K. My reasoning is that flowering still involves making a lot of plant tissue and the 6500K should be helpful, plus there is still plenty of light in the 6500k area in natural light at flowering time so it seems like it would be more natural than only 2700K.

Does anyone do this or have anything to offer?

It can't hurt to add some 'day light' wavelengths. Probably not necessary though. Sounds like you've got it covered.

Thanks bioWheel. Some claim that you can't get good dense buds with only CFLs, assuming that 2700K would be the only color being used. I'm thinking the 6500k would support denser growth, no matter what stage the plant is in.

I'll post updates after I get them flowering and can see how everything's working out. Maybe even a picture if I can.
