Shopping for a Power Rack!

I am looking at setting up a home gym and I really dont believe in machines, so I have done a little research and the safest way to work out alone is with a power rack. There are a few different styles of safety arms for this style of rack and the cheapest ones are in the pic. Anyways, I think that there is a lot of stuff a person could do with this with different benches ect... So, I have been looking at Rouge Fitness. Anyone know equipment? I never really had to buy this stuff before lol.

That rack is awesome.

If you get that one, you'll be set forever. Like you said, you could do anything in there.

Up top, you have 3 different set ups far chin ups. Fat bar, regular bar, and all those neutral grip handles. That is an awesome feature. Really versatile. You could rotate grips for pull ups/chinups like 20 different ways. I've never seen a fat-grip chin up bar built in like that. Now I want one.

The rack is super tall. Unless you're like 6'5", you could overhead press standing up in there. That's cool.

The safety arms, or "pins" are really sturdy. You can set the pins low to catch the bar for safety. Or you can do partial versions of presses and deadlifts, off the pins, starting at the bottom. You can also get crazy and slam weights down, and that big-ass rack won't wobble around. The holes in the rack that the pins slide thru are spaced 1 inch apart, so you can set the pins almost exactly where you want them. Thats a great feature.

Down at the bottom, there are pegs to wrap your Flex Bands around, for "Dynamic Effort" Squatting/Deadlifting against the bands. You may never even do that stuff, but the pegs are there if you ever want to.

You will be PLEASED with that rack. If you get that thing, a good bench and a Texas Power Bar, you'll be better equiped than most commercial gyms.

I love Rogue fitness gear I got a bunch of their stuff. Thats a nice rack.
I got their ohio bar and a bunch of their rubber plates from Hi Temp.
I got a little sm-1 rack from them I keep in my sun room. I like their little sm-1 cause I can wheel it outside.
I just got their games box for plyo/box training.
Anything I've ever gotten from Rogue is top notch.

I don't believe in machines either, or do isolation. Compound exercises ftw

So far, this structure has costed me about $3k but it is almost finished. I did true 8' studs on the bottom floor because most of these racks are 90''-96'' tall, and I think that I am over 100'' on the bottom. I poured the concrete 6'' deep, so bolting the rack to the floor will not be a problem! My wife made me take the stereo out of the house and it has been sitting in my garage waiting for this!

I like your style.
My garage was too short! The funny thing is, this started off being a chicken coop lol!!! Then came the concrete truck... I have a friend that went to high school with me, then when I was in the army, he happen to show up in my unit towards the end of my enlistment. He helps me for free whiskey and bud. He knows more about construction than I do, but I fixed his car! "Mustang" is because I was building hotrods for a little while, and I was in the 1st cav. My unit was 1-8 Cav and we were called "Mustangs" also, it has kind of been a part of my life... Damn, I started drinking already today, sorry.
