Shock?

Ok, I will try to explain this the best I can, I have things pretty planned out. I started germinating 20 seeds today, 10 Afghani and 10 unknown that were free with the order. I plan on having them in soil and under two 4 ft tube fluoros that will put out about 5000 Lumens. I figure this is sufficient considering its in a fairly regular size closet (not sure of the dimensions) covered with mylar. The fixture fits perfectly with only about a foot or two to all surrounding walls. Also this is only to start them before transplanting.

To my main question, my grow spot is what some call 'guerilla' so I would really like to have my plants sexed before moving them outside. My question is if I have my seedlings under lights by March 12, let them grow until March 26, is it possible to sex them (i've heard 12/12 for 2 weeks should show some preflowers) then revert back to 18/6 for another two weeks. Unfortunately my lease ends April 30th so the situation is slightly out of my control. Will this cause shock? Really sorry Big Toke you already answered my question like this but I posted another question back but yah haven't responded so I thought I'd put it out there again. Thanks everyone.

Yeah the preflowering 12/12 and then back to 18/6 is possible. I did it once i grew 2 bagseed strains seeds under light (cfl's) Till they were about 8 inch then switched to 12/12 by hand didnmt have a timer.After like about two weeks i discoverd one male and one female. So get rid of the male, and then started 18/6 again. Two weeks later i took her she her outside during like may and harvested like about novmeber
